@Euodias
Жыл бұрын
Yes, but the circumstances are very different. The only reason why I was okay with moving back now is because I don't have to follow the rules. Moving to Japan to work (as an employee) and moving there for business is very different. I will never move to Japan if I had to work a normal job. But since I am not working under anyone, I do not have to abide by the rules and am still able to keep my freedom as a foreigner :)

Yodi I thought you said you liked Japan as a visiting country, but not a country where’d you move in cause the culture there is very suffocating due to the hierarchy and misogyny
@Euodias
Жыл бұрын
Yes and I still stand by that belief! It’s an extremely toxic place to be in if you’re not willing to change yourself to be more fitting of the typical Japanese lifestyle. But fortunately for me, I’d be travelling and staying in Japan as a business owner so the usual working rules and the standard Japanese lifestyle (hierachy / misogyny) that a regular working adult in Japan has, does not apply to me. I do not have to change myself to fit the society there as I’m not working under anyone else in Japan. In short, my career allows me to keep my freedom while living in Japan. Also, I’m moving there but I have no plans to settle down there. Hopefully that makes sense :)
