I just voted on a survey from the channel about this, it funny the thing i chose was the least picked. I picked the sap or slap or blackjack because they save the hands better than knuckle dusters. plus, I don't know how to use the other weapons really.

Kyle, I'm still here watching all your videos, awesome! Apparently, Amanda has a sadistic side, rumor has it that she fully charged the stun baton before handing it to you, although she may deny it. All the stuff you brought out was awesome, and a quick note, that stun baton can be used as the expandable baton, if not just for blunt force, still with certain techniques for retention and joint manipulation. Like you always say, "learn self-defense" don't rely on a tool because if it fails or is taken away from you, there's got to be a backup plan. It's great that you stress that. After all, a person is the weapon, the rest are tools. Also, good point about relying on pain compliance, can't rely on that at all. So another great video, I'm going to the community page, stay well, have an awesome week.

Old school here: Used to carry manriki-gussari regularly. Gussari-fundo is an entire family of weapons, to include the gussari-kama and bakata-su-gamma. I made my own manriki, and usually carried it inside the waist of my pants ... for a drawing strike from the right or left. Would need a closer look at the chain construction, to meet personal approval standards. An un-welded chain is just a series of weak links. Big fan of saps/cudgels/blackjacks, so that is interesting because of the weight to speed ratio. (I sleep with an old school S&W 14 ouncer under my pillow, when I travel.) Yours has a nice edge strike because of the material composition too. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a small pocket incorporated, that served the same function as a dead-blow hammer. I am super curious about the telescopic polymer baton, with the steel stinger tip. As a lifelong student of baton/stick combat, I would like to put that one through rigorous testing. *If* it could hold up to realistically combative strikes, I would think that I might prefer it to have a balancing (perhaps steel) pommel, for speed and control. Of course, these are just my opinions. I could be wrong. ✌🏼 P.S. I know you asked for my "favorite," and I didn't give you a direct answer, so I shall. My favorite bludgeoning instrument is whatever I have at hand to mitigate or end a conflict, in short order ... at any given moment in time. I practiced with the house barstools, when I worked club security. - 'Nuff said. ✌🏼

I'd like a little more weight in a slap jack. I wish that they'd make this one with a small lead disc in the head. The fundo reminds me of the weights and chains that they used to put in old clock mechanisms. My grandparents had a clock that they "wound" every day by raising the weights back to their high level. The weights were on a chain which ran on sprockets. The weights exerted enough force to turn the sprockets and power the clock. That has nothing to do with self-defense, but when I see those things, I'm reminded of old clocks. I once had a friend who was a collector and seller of antique clocks.

Definitely considering buying one of these stun batons. Trying to decide between the punisher and the anti-grab baton. Being prepared to defend oneself is important, but don't forget that preparing spiritually to meet Jesus is more important than anything else. Blessings of faith and endurance. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9-10

I completely agree! My faith in Christ is more important to me than anything else. As far as those stun batons go, each have their advantages and disadvantages. The antigrab is awesome, but not as durable for strikes. The punisher stun baton is more durable, but doesn’t have the antigrab feature. Please feel free to contact the customer service team if you have any questions. God bless you, my friend!

Thanks Russell! I really appreciate your support! Most of the neck knives we carry have blades that are under 4”, but I will ask Amanda to try to find one for an upcoming video. As for the martial arts I study, I’m very lucky to live in an area (Phoenix) where so many different martial arts are available to study. I’ve trained in many different ones over the years, but have found Japanese jujitsu and American boxing to be my favorites.
