R-27 Impeller Replacement
Engine: Volvo D3-200

Parts Needed:
Volvo Penta Impeller Kit #21951352
Impeller Lubricant (NOTE: NOT INCLUDED IN IMPELLER KIT)
Tools Needed:
Drill
#2 Squarehead Driver
5mm Allen Head Driver
Socket Wrench With 17mm Socket & 6'' Extension
Needle-Nose Pliers
Instructions:
1. Remove 6 screws on teak access panel under cabin step (fig.1)
2. Remove 2 screws on heat shield panel (fig. 2)
3. Remove 6 screws on carpeted panel inside quarter berth (fig. 3)
4. Remove 4 screws on smaller panel in quarter berth (fig. 4)
5. Slide out head shield panel into quarter berth (fig. 5)
6. Use socket to loosen tensioner (turn clockwise) and remove belt (fig. 6)
7. Remove 3 bolts that hold Sea Water Pump (impeller wheel) in place (fig. 7)
8. Remove old impeller with needle-nose pliers
9. Remove old gasket and replace with new one
10. Lubricate all blades of impeller and interior wall of Sea Water Pump housing
11. Push new impeller into position
12. Replace Sea Water Pump cover and wheel with 3 bolts
13. Loosen tensioner (turn clockwise) and replace belt making sure that all grooves align
14. Start engine with both access covers removed and check for leaks
15. Once no leaks are detected, slide heat shield panel back in place and replace screws under step (2) and in quarter berth (4)
16. Replace larger access panel with screws (6).
17. Replace teak access panel on front of step with screws (6)
