I love that you just showed scotch doubles and that was a great played game. Here where I am nobody knows what scotch doubles is and now I can just send everyone or show them this so they get a better understanding of it. I got my crew in to playing scotch doubles a couple years back and now that's all they play when we are all around and we teach others the same way. But how we play is scotch doubles/bank 8/minimum 2 rails just so we can improve all our games.

It wasn’t frustrating it was funny I think that happens to everyone, and if I miss a shot like that its because I rushed it. One of the things I do especially when IM shooting a ball past other balls I look at the shot from the pocket I’m shooting the ball into. This does 2 things it tells me exactly how much room I have and it slows me down. Keep this stuff coming it’s some of the best instruction out there

Great video as always. I’ll have to admit I’ve never heard of her before, obviously top player. I watch lots of videos and am close to being a professional in “knowing” how to play as opposed to actually putting it in practice 😀. With that said it looks to me like she has a very strange stroke, she seems to have a few small back swings and then rushes the final stroke? It seems to work but I wonder if she would make that step up to the jasmine’s of this world, If she adjusted that? Just my observation

I like all your video's very much. Very good explanations and very instructional. What pocket size and shelve depth are you playing with. They seem very wide. Corner pockets seem wider then two balls. And center pockets look very wide. Are you using wide pockets on purpose for the video? Btw complements to Kristina she plays smart and solid. Correcting your imperfections wonderfully. PS: Where I play all pool tables corner pockets are 4 Inch.

Hey Sharivari Great Game ! .. Hello Ms Grim !! Ms Grim I like your game , I see you play with alot of Control force follow top spin . Now is it possible to play force follow shots on a 7ft Diamond table ? If So , can you show us how since Most of us are League players .7ft Diamond ( League tables ) play alot different than Regular house size tables .lol 🤣
@Brnjoku
2 жыл бұрын
You actually can. Just have to control the speed in which you use force follow. I feel as if most people tense up when following through to shots; when in reality you only need to have a relax soft touch to not allow the ball to travel off the line too much.

Anyone tried making a shot with your eyes closed? Not the whole time, but take your stance, line up as best you can, close your eyes and make the shot, then look. I think this can help prevent over-thinking the shot, and trying to make subliminal corrections as the stroke is made. This might help reform the brain's awareness of limb position without continually adding visual noise to the sequence of the shot. When it comes time to add spin in actual playing, aiming becomes an abstract concept that you have to imagine anyways, and you can do that better with your eyes closed :) After you get comfortable with eyes closed, then you might feel less stressed when shooting with eyes open because you quit trying to 'figure it out' as you shoot. With eyes closed, then you become aware of your grip on the cue, any clenching of your hand, wobbling of your elbow, stuff you try to think about at the same time as you try to 'adjust' your stroke if you are watching the cue, and it's just too much to process. The shot will become whatever it is because of all those subliminal things you feel, and practically nothing to do with what your eyes are seeing. For this to work, I think you need a wide stance to provide a stable platform that is not wavering and wobbling, so you can rely on it's repeatability.

Thrown off by having to move that obstruction and though you stepped into your shot, you didn't walk into it so I think your pre-shot routine was disrupted enough on a key shot to make a difference. Happens all the time in bars and venues where space is tight around tables. The frustration is palpable.

That's funny You Never See anyone do videos on 7ft Diamond tables .. APA ,BCA etc. all the leagues Play on those table's . So when league players watch these Pool Videos we have to Figure these shots out All Over again on a Smaller table if that makes sense ..
@mr.lootybutthole
2 жыл бұрын
The geometry is the same, all those shots work on 7 ft aswell, even better because those principles are even more important on small tighter tables. The reason you only see 9ft tables is cause of europe. In europe also amateurs only play on big boy tables. Maybe a reason, why we produce so many top players. I'd like to have bar box leagues here though, would be fun.
