Nice wikiup. More room with the fireplace on the side like that instead of the middle. Great job. Yeah I would like to see other shelters.

Very good collection of "axe in the woods" shelters. How about some trash based shelters? Think about merging some of the "found materials" shelter assists - cordage made from 2-liter bottles, water-proofing shelters with found materials - plastic bags from furniture shipping or stray lawn and leaf bags. Down in Brazil, I saw a shack completely shingled with flattened aluminum cans (no joke - the guy must have used a thousand tacks). Face it, my friend, the trashy wilderness is a lot easier to find than the pristine wilderness! Looking forward to your channel and new videos!

Good job. But what about the smoke generated from the fire in the drum? How's it going to escape into the outer air?

How you built that fireplace is kinda genius....looks like you found bird cage or something and put the rocks in that? Hmm, I know where I could scrounge some chickenwire but that's about it. Still, holy crap, that's creative. Great stuff! Oh, and other things I worry about when it comes to things potentially catching fire are angles and bottlenecks of the venting structure where heat can stay and build where I wouldn't think it would, rather than leave to an open space. I guess airflow matters. Okay, now I want to learn how people build chimneys haha

Maybe the best I have ever seen! Puzzle piece gym pads, 8 x 8. (16.) Carpeting on top, 7 x 7? Stuff with leaves all the places where the light shines through the holes? Clay/mud leaf/grass "plastering". Poo Poo Burner? Anaerobic Digestion. (No heat at all...Triple sleeping bags inside each other.) Double wide sleeping bags? Fire ring outside? I do not want to ever go home! (Wild edible plants...Amazon Books.)

i like it. if smear mud over leaves let harden that solve leaves catching fire problem. if plant some kina clover or ground covering in mud that solve rain wash mud away . if do straw berries or lettuce get food as well shelter. think cheape pets. witch they use grasses so grass seed works too.

You say there is no light coming into the shelter other than your lantern and the door. You can clearly see the light coming in from the holes in the walls. 🤣😂🤣

Make an "underground" shelter. 1. Find a wide and deep enough ditch V eor U shaped 2. Four Columns in the ground and 4 columns on top to make a frame 3. Place long enough sticks or logs over the ditch, so it covers your frame and stretches each side. 4. Tarp over 5. Then cover with soil, sticks and moss seeds. Edit: Also walls, but you'll figure that out. You only need an axe, maybe a little rope and a tarp, if you have enough soil and sticks, maybe you don't need the tarp.
