The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly disrupted grief experiences. Social distancing and huge pressure on NHS and social care meant many people died alone, and family and friends had to grieve alone. The BeSupported project, led by Dr Emily Harrop (Cardiff University), and Dr Lucy Selman (University of Bristol), was shortlisted for the ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize 2023.
