This is great stuff. Rhythmic is my weakest area in my music journey. And a musician should not underestimate it.

I have a suggestion for you dear Sir Sir you have done piano rhythm lessons on boogie woogie /rock/rock n roll/tresillo/waltz /blues and so many others like arpeggios and beat division. May I request you to kindly make a video series in each of the following genres mentioned below.: A)Funk with groove left hand bass lines and right hand fills and chords.May include disco as well. B)Latin styles like salsa/samba /merengue/bossa nova/timba/cumbia/bolero/bachata /etc,without too much rigorous discussion on complex counting of 2-3 and 3-2 claves. Thanks. I will appreciate your effort and look forward to the day if such topics are discussed.

Wow! That was an amazing conclusion to this series. Since you asked for suggestions, would be great if you could maybe cover the so-called “ragtime” style for the next video and how it differs from regular swing. The inspiration here is of course the ragtime solo of Jordan Rudess in The Dance of Eternity :)

Dearest Jason.. Highly inspirational & informative content. Many many thanks as always for these Godsend lessons. Have a few questions to clarify if you could kindly have a look please. 1) What's the Piano software/VST/Library you use to conduct these lessons or a Library which you you recommend which the highest authenticity. 2) Could you please recommend some Major scales which is used to compose western folk/country type music, which manly played by Native American flutes / Tin Whistle flutes / Ocarina Flutes ? (Not the Gypsy or the Hungarian Minor scales) 3) Specify scales used in compositions like the Famous Japanese Teledrama soundtrack 'Oshin" Many thanks for all your efforts. God Bless & Cheers.. :)

I would recommend Keyscape. It's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. It has many other keyboards other than piano, too. Another good one is Noire for Kontakt, but it's strictly piano.
