1. Introduction
This SOP provides a step-by-step guide to program the Multi-Function Digital Inputs (MFDI) in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 G+ or VG+ drives.
2. Procedure
2.1 Multi Function Digital Inputs (MFDI)
All the control signal inputs, that are identified by the terminals S1 through S8 are programmable. The programming is contained in the H01-01 ~ H01-08 parameters respectively.
2.2 U01-10 Input terminal status
Access monitor mode parameter U01-10 to view if any of the MFDI terminals has an active input.
2.3 Reading parameter U01-10
There are eight digits in the parameter U01-10 that will be displayed as either a ZERO if the terminal is not active, or a ONE if the terminal is active.
The furthest digit shown on the display on the right represents the S1 terminal, and the farthest digit on the on the left represents the S8 terminal.
2.4 The U01-10 Status
U01-10 status input terminal status can be used to verify programming, for wiring, and for troubleshooting.
3. Conclusion
This SOP provides a basic guide to program the MFDI in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 G+ or VG+ drives.
