I just want to say thank you for these episodes. As a native of the Northwest, we did not learn about the many ancestors who contributed to our history. It is actually heartbreaking to know that there were so many inventors, teachers, creators, etc, that paved the way. I only know of the trauma that we as a people sustained, and although it angers me, I also would like to rejoice and celebrate those who made a mark in this world and brought forth their intellect. Keep doing what you're doing! ❤

The conversations at Howard's MSRC (Moorland Spingarn Research Ctr) Black Writers Festival were intellectually stimulating. While not the answers to many questions, I do appreciate them as an entry point for the Knubian conversations which are, in my opinion, transcendent in nature and scope. Shout out to Dr Talton and his staff, and contributors such as Dr Carr and many others.

Professor Hunter years ago while teaching for a community College, i had my students do their own eulogy for Speech. How they saw themselves in the future. I looked at writing and creativity. They expressed to me that it made them look at their futures seriously to really imagine what they can become, and what they can strive toward. The students loved the assignment! Even with your discussion today, what would it be like w/o WP!? Using the imagination is powerful thing, and like my students we can imagine a life beyond what is given by this system and see a life well lived w/o WP and Free to just Live a life imagined!!! Thank you and Dr. Carr🎉 Love it!

12:48 The reason is that the history (narrative) is connected to our self-identity. We must have one and it can be painful and a lot of work to teardown and rebuild your self-identity. It can pain you and strain your whole network of relationships, as someone who lived as a Christian for 13 yrs and is no longer. So any new information can be a threat to what I "know" abt myself. This is why ppl can be extremely protective over the narrative and the facts that are allowed to exist within it.

If we are talking about "racism", then we are not talking about an ambush. Why isn't the only conversation we're having about competing? Anything outside of planning an economic ambush is futile... 8:50 Yes, it is possible because it does not exist in the first place, it is a big fat lie. To imagine is to confirm it existed in the first place, and there you give it validity and your Power, your consciousness to exist in the first place. Pretty very simple and not rocket science 😮

These two highly intelligent people are wasting their valuable time attempting to make sense of race or racism. Talk about the strategy for winning. How do we build our own system? Not a system that defeats white supremacy. A system that creates a thriving life for our people. The only thing that can beat a system is a better, more efficient system. Less complaining, more strategizing...
