Jim says the line "I just listen to real rap & dupe it" is referencing that he (Vanilla Ice) samples other people's work without permission. Jim is making a joke out of the fact that Vanilla Ice had a copyright infringement lawsuit slapped on him for stealing the original base riff from Queen's 1981 song "Under Pressure". The judge ruled against him & forced him to give writing credits to the original composers. Vanilla Ice soon became a laughing stock after all his other BS lies were exposed. I remember when this aired the first time. Everyone was laughing their butts off & talked about it for weeks. This was the show that gave Jennifer Lopez her start. She was a 'Fly Girl", part of the background dancers.

You have to remember that Jim Carrey was the lone white guy on an almost all black show. I believe there was an Asian guy and a white woman - both of their names escape me. Apparently Keenan Ivory Wayans had a good eye for talented comedians. Jamie Foxx actually wasn't on the show for long, from what I remember. Maybe a season or 2. The 2 main people were Damon Wayans and David Allen Grier, with some stuff involving Keenan. The Home Shoplifting Network, Men On Film/Books/Art/TV, This Old Box and Handyman (my favourite) were the highlights.

There were two white women. It started with one, Kelly Coffield and added another in Season 4, Alexandra Wentworth. Steve Park, the Asian guy, was part of the cast in Season 2. Not sure if he was around past that. Jamie was in the last 3 seasons, and the Wayans weren't in the final season.

Nope what killed his career is lying about Ice Ice Baby is not Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie and lying about where he came from.

My favorite part is when he wipes the floor before he does the push up. You should watch it again to see what the back of his jacket says. They show it at the very end. It's pretty fast so you'll have to pause it.
