I just watched the tributes to Jack Narz, Charles Nelson Reilly, and Brett Somers. All very beautiful and touching. Daytime will never be the same without these giants---and Gene Rayburn too.

In my honest opinion, Jack Narz was a very under-rated and under-appreciated game show host; he had a charisma and a personality all his own. A sad loss for the game show world, but his memory lives on! RIP, Jack... we'll miss ya, buddy!

yesterday when i was glossing over my video subscriptions in my e-mail, i passed over this and the world just STOPPED. i may not have been as familiar with jack narz as with his famous family (tom kennedy and the late bill cullen), but watching gsn and youtube, i became a steady fan of his. he was 1 of a kind and he'll be missed. :(

11 years ago today, we lost Jack Narz, who passed away at the age of 85. I was in Ocala, Florida, where I was working at the time and I saw the announcement of Game Show Network. It shocked the heck out of me. RIP Jack.

WHat a shame about Jack Narz dying! I got a kick out of watching Doe pick a fight with him everytime they got a question wrong on Tattletales. My heart goes out to her and Tom Kennedy as well. We'll miss you, Jack!

I remember Mr. Narz from his announcing on Jim Perry's CARD SHARKS on NBC. I'm stunned that his passing was this week. It makes me wonder if he or Dick Clark started that "So Long" with the salute. Hmm.

The "Now You See It" game board seen at the beginning of each show is a tip of the hat to some of Goodson and Todman's past game shows: "What's My Line?" (Line 1, position 1), "Beat the Clock" (Line 1, position 12), "Truth or Consequences" (line 2, position 1), "TattleTales" (Line 2, position 11), "The Price is Right" (Line 3, position 1), "Match Game" (Line 3, position 10), and "Password" (Line 4, position 1) RIP, Jack Narz!

Son of a gun! I just learned of his passing:( How sad. I hope his brother (Tom Kennedy) is handling it as best he can. Thanks for posting this nice tribute. Lets hope GSN does a tribute to him as well.

Somewhere on "You Tube", there is an episode of "Password Plus". Now, this particular episode after Allen Ludden was no longer able to host the show and Tom Kennedy had taken over. In this week, Jack was one of the celebrity players. The conversation rolled around to which brother was the better host. So, Tom DARED Jack to take over the podium for one match. (TK was no slouch at PLAYING P+ so the producers agreed.) They went to commercial, and when they returned, Tom and Jack had switched places. If you had never seen an episode of P+ before, you would swear that Mr. Narz had ALWAYS DONE IT. I mean, he was as smooth as glass. It's my favorite memory of him. Again, the man never got his due. R.I.P.

I wish someone would post some clips of "Seven Keys." I kinda remember what the game board looked like. But my memory of it is pretty vague. Does anybody have an episode or two of Seven Keys? There's a still image from the show in this video. Are there any episodes out there?

November 13, 1922.The day that my paternal grandmother turned 36. And she and my grandfather learned that she was pregnant with their 4th child. They already had three sons (my uncles). Would this one be another son? Or would it be a daughter this time? They would find out around the end of April.
