If I remember, in an interview he stated he disliked religions. The main religions of Japan are Shintoism and Buddhism. He would be more likely to be a believer of Shintoism. In Shintoism, after a person's passing, they protect their family After 33 years, it they then become part of the family kami. Kami referring to The spirits of their ancestors. I like this belief. However if he worships buddhism, then He likely believes in reincarnation. If so i wish upon him all the love in the world in his next life. On the VERY slim chance he's christian, then he will go to heaven. So either way, I wish his soul the most happiness that can possibly be given.

Oda on Toriyama: "May heaven be the joyous world he envisioned." when reading this when the news came out, it made me smile a little. In the world he created death wasn't something permanent; it was just an obstacle. And with his legacy a part of him will always be there.I am thankful for the fun worlds he created with beloved characters who stuck with us through as much as we stuck around through their adventures! This is such a beautiful tribute and I sang along to the lyrics to myself. Thank you for sharing this and making this in the first place!
