Marla girl, if college ain’t it then that’s ok! You have such an awesome future that doesn’t need a degree. Yes, it’s an awesome experience. But a degree does not determine your worth. Love you! ❤

I just want to say that seeing you with acne has really made me feel like am not alone. I used to have clear skin a spot here and there obviously but very clear skin up until I was 18 and it just destroyed my self confidence, painful acne all around my face and the blemishes too. I started wearing foundation and concealer to minimise the redness but it was bad. I didn’t understand why I started going through this at 18 it was crazy I had clear skin all this time and now this. Anyways so I dealt with it for 2 and a half years of very bad acne and I was too afraid of taking medication it made me very uncomfortable with all the side effects you get so I ended up dealing with it for those years, trying a lot of different creams and products, exfoliating was too painful so nothing worked because this was I’m pretty sure hormonal acne but it was constant for those 2 years. Eventually it started clearing up I still deal with blemishes and sometimes cystic acne but exfoliating has definitely helped. Hopefully this will pass and I know your taking accutain, so don’t stress it, each persons body is different sometimes it takes longer other times peoples acne clears faster, this will work you just have to be patient and not think about it too much yea it sucks a lot but there’s nothing more you can do about it.

Hi Marla! I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, I just wanted to let you know that back in 2020 I had terrible acne, and I know exactly what you’re going through, even though my case was a lot worse! My skin healed after I stopped eating… peanut butter. Which is why I’m writing this comment. I saw on your video that you had a bit of pb in your protein shake. Basically I’ve never been allergic to peanuts but apparently they triggered my acne. My skin cleared after my body got clean from all the peanut butter I had eaten. And now, any time I have pb and peanuts in general I get reaction on my skin immediately. If it’s a small amount it goes away quickly but if for example I keep on having pb for a week or two, it gets really bad. I know that you probably don’t care about my story but I thought it would be good to know that nuts trigger acne even if you don’t have an allergy and I wish someone had told me that before I went through hell. Anyways, love you girl ❤️

Skin with Accutane or any other treatment usually show results until the 6th month or even the year, I have had hormonal acne for about ten years, went through Accutane three times and it never cleared it, for a while it was ok but then it wasn’t, Im trying to say that sometimes for some it doesn’t work because the problem is more complicated, Im trying to control it with good products but still there it is, maybe one day it will get better, but it’s ok, don’t feel discouraged, sometimes people want to see results in three months but that’s just a short period to see a huge change…

One recommendation i would like to put out there that when i was on accutane, my dermatologist recommended me to avoid anything that has nuts and chocolate in them because they trigger acne so when i saw you make that protein shake i thought you should know that and ask your dermatologist if that helps or not. You are beautiful either way❤️

I was on accutane for 6 months & was still getting breakouts on my 6 month. After I was completely finished taking it was when my skin was the most clear. I know it can be discouraging. My skin was clear for 6 years after accutane & now I’m struggling with acne all over again. It just takes time and it’ll be worth it in the end.
@savanahkonia1101

Yes I completely agree with this! Your skin is ur skin and even though dermatologists suggest a time frame it doesn’t mean that it will work completely for ur skin. I struggled with very intense acne for 4 years going on all skin medicine in terms of birth controls to acne medication to creams and oils that a doctor could offer. Nothing worked and accutane was offered to me through going to a dermatologist. 6 months went by and my skin was still purging, In my country of NZ that was the strongest medication and the best acne medication our country could offer, so there was nothing else than waiting for my hormones to balance. 5 years later I was diagnosed with being a rare case of an acne patient as you shouldn’t be on accutane for longer than months, due to having a lot more hormones and natural skin oils in my body compared to the standard young adult my dermatologist saw through this years of training and work life Every acne type is different and so is ur hormones in ur body, it takes years and time but it does go away. I am now off accutane for 2 years at the age of 22 and I don’t have acne anymore and don’t see my dermatologist. After everything accutane was the best medication for me and everyday I did see very small differences, weather that be through having less oily skin or seeing patches of clear skin, and I would say stick to accutane its a long haul but in the end it helps your skin in terms of healing as well as scars and would recommend it to anyone. You can get through this, especially as our faces are quite important for many as we see it in the mirror everyday.

But I was on antibiotics for years. 😅 I'm 32 years and my acne got bad again when I got married, and I started on natural supplements that my doctor recommended who is a nutritional doctor. The brand of the supplements are called Nature's Sunshine. They're a few that I take and they're supposed to cleanse you from the inside. Yes, 💩 lol But my acne is gone. Do some research on them.
