The story behind the song is that one of his students and her family passed away in a car accident and he wrote it to help him mourn the loss of his friends.

The audience clapped too early. That happened to us when we sang ding a ding. Additional: there's no fermata on "rest" and the the trombone should be a french horn (though it sounded the same), and it overpowered the choir, which by the way was excellent.

Does Jon Spooner Have Two Uvulas? Honestly. Cause I Don't Want To Seem Braggish, But I'm A Pretty Good Trombone Player And I've Actually Tried The "Self-Harmony" By Singing Into My Trombone While Playing. Unless It Requires LOTS OF PRACTICE I Can't Do It. Anyone Know? Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated! ^.^

to go back to the background of this song, i thought that it was his family that had died in a car accident rather then his student... im not positive but i thought thats what it said in the music
