Could care less what hardly does. I'm a 54 model, first memorys are riding atop the fat bobs on Grandpas Knuckle Head on North Arkansas gravel roads. Did the whole billy badass 1%er thing in the 70's. Around 2000 I'm ready for a new ride. Dealers want 2 or 3k just to get in line for a new bike, screw that, I went 1500 FI Vulcan, then while doing the Dragon and feeling unsatisfied I came to the realization I was craving more corner speed, more lean angle, I wanted a sport bike. Got a ZZR 1200, that was 2005. My main squeeze now is a Ninja 1000 and love her. She's a bike I can still get stupid on in confidence. Oh yeah, thanks for posting, always enjoy your videos. Maybe one of these days the stars will align and we can hook up on Talimena / Wilhelmina Drive.

Harley is seen as a boomer bike by many young riders. Buying a Harley is like buying a Buick to them. HD is royally screwed as its remaining customers age out of life.

You are right on. I no longer own a Harley for a variety of reasons. My first HD was an Evo Sporty, the I went to a 2006 88" Twin Cam. It was a pretty good bike but unfortunately was lost in a garage fire. I replaced it with a 110, what a piece of junk. As an example it wouldn't start if the temperature got below 40*. I had to put an aftermarket battery in it. That was just the start. I gave up on it and switched to a Moto Guzzi and haven't looked back. My first one was a 1400 which was faster, stopped better, handled better and had more features like traction control, twin discs and more. That yahoo sneaker king needs to move on. I am betting he is working his way to a big pay out when he goes and I hope he isn't planning to "merge" with an Asian concern, no slam against Asia. Harley needs to wake up!

That very much well could be. But yeah, my MGX-21 was a far better bagger than anything that HD could put out. The V7 a much better ride than a Sportster, Nightster, whatever. The V85 better than a Pan America. HD just sat still. Even Moto Guzzi has bucked tradition with the V100 and that thing is a masterpiece in first run production fun.

@@RabidHedgehog I had an Audace which is a MGX without the fairing and side cases. It got too heavy for my aged body. I also have a V7lll Special and bought a V100 Mandello last October. Fantastic machine. Great motorcycles produced by a very small company, Harley with all their resources should do much better.
