If you love music with meaning. I earnestly hope you look into the band Anti Flag. They are an amazing band that got me out of severe depression (lasted for 12 years) and anorexia( 6 years)! I completely understand what he's saying and agree, but what truly scares me is what happens once all those people die, you're just another body in the ground, and all you've been through in your life and all the lessons you've learned and all the good and bad times you've had, it'll be like it never happened. Your story will be forgotten with the only people who remembered it, so really when I listen to this song I think of it in a different way, I think of it as 'In the End, 100 years from now, when you and your friends and family are gone THEN who will remember you. no one.. unless you make a mark' so basically it says to me that you need to make your mark in this world so that you can live on past just the memories of loved ones which will eventually end as well. Sorry, I'm not the most cheerful person at times.

Jo-Ann, If the kind of person you were after you're gone was very influential and you were the type of person everyone wanted to be around, your legacy is carried through other people, even if they don't know it. You might have rubbed off a little or a lot onto someone or several people. After you're gone, they won't lose those qualities you may have. They might rub it off on their children or friends or whomever they come into contact with. So, in reality, you don't have to make an impact on the world itself to live on forever in memory, because living on through the actions of others is something you should strive for and in my opinion better than memory because memory can include anything wrong you've done, but living on through what you've thought others is almost always positive. Be the person everyone else wants to be and reflect in their own personality, not just because you did something great, but because you were someone great. If that makes any sense...

When my grandad died, in 1999, I went to his funeral & heard all these stories of things he'd gotten up to when he was younger. It made me realise that he wasn't an 'old man', he was a young man who's body had gotten old. So now I'm taking after him & making stories of my own, as is Andy. I'm sure his grandad was very proud of him x

That's what attracts many people to him, that's how he moves the crowd. Talent is important in a band, looks are a plus but, in the end, what really matters is one's personality, one's attitude, one's view at the world and one's ambition, determination and work to leave a legacy.Andy has all of it. He's my idol.

It is good to have him dispel any negativity that is thrown at these guys. I am a hard core metal-head and I thoroughly enjoy their music. Everyone is human, and this proves it, even the various musicians who are bashed or insulted because they are different of of a genre you don't like. So they are skinny and wear makeup, who cares? Andy Biersack is someone I'd love to sit down and have a human conversation with, especially on the subjects of life and death, faiths and religions, the human condition. Sometimes I'll agree with him, disagree point blank, or just find him interesting, but he always gives me pause for thought. The fact he can coherently express himself, and can do so for a VERY long time, is something I admire. It's a quality my family praise highly. I think he'd be interesting to debate with.
