Though this song was written by a Protestant (C. Austin Miles (1868-1946), who was a pharmacist turned hymn writer and church music director), it is a 'Christian' song. Both Protestants and Catholics not only believe in, but follow the teachings of Jesus. So, please, listen to, like and enjoy. It's a beautiful song.

Today is my dads birthday, he passed away, Aug 8,2011, this song was sung at a BPOE , Elks ceromony for life long members that passed in 2011, therefore, I love it and feel it is a sign from God that my father is with Jesus walking In the Garden. God Bless you all and may he comfort you in your grief. Amen.
