I dont know why this was recommended to as a non-tubaist, but i enjoyed the premise and honestly good playing for not playing a piece for 5 years for such a hard piece. Keep it up!

I'm not totally sure of the model, but it is a full-size Miraphone tuba

@@tubakessa5368 Thanks! I have a Conn 20J (6/4 size) and an Olds 0-99 (supposedly 3/4)--quite a difference in size and especially in weight between the two! I find the large Conn easier blowing. However, I sometimes wish I had 4 valves in at least one of them so I could have a better chance of getting into the pedal tone range, but at least I can get a solid Eb false tone, and even down to a C on the Conn but it isn't very strong. I noticed that the keys for your rotary valves are arranged in somewhat of a curve to fit one's fingertips better, which is excellent. I had never played rotary valves until I got a French horn. I'm looking forward to your future videos! 🙂

I remember when you played this five years ago. Someone was watching with me and hummed along!
