Hi Peter, Looks like you pulled too much B-line. Here are some tips for the next time: * look at your wing when doing a B-stall so you can see what your wing does * don't do a B-stall, there are a lot of other descent techniques that work better (big ears, spiral) and put less stress on your wing. On a lot of new wings, it is even discouraged by the manufacturer to do B-stalls * if you go in auto rotation, weight shift to the open side instead of the closed side

Hi there! Thanks for feedback I will try spiral with this wing with the next ocasion, and see how it goes

Be careful with spirals, the G-forces can be so high that you lose consciousness (but it is also a lot of fun to do!). On my previous wing (mid EN-B), i got descent rates of more than 20m/s, you really don't want to pass out and hit the ground at that speed... It is advised to do this the first time above water and with an instructor

Yes I know, I used to do really fast spirals with one of my ex-wings (I could feel the blood going from head to feet) but with this one I would be very careful.. the wing is not for playing, is for XC flights

Just again, for everyone. I keep seeing that mistake over and over again. If something goes wrong, FIRST stabilize, THEN try to re-open the wing. You really shouldn't try to get the wingtip back out whilst the rest of it is going to full sat. It's really no problem to continue flying straight with 3/4 of the wing.

How stabilizise?

Weight-shift and brakes. Like he did after a while, which also immediately ended the sat. Just be carefull to not stall the wing during stabilization. Which he also seems to have done. So, what do I know ... Was a while ago that I posted this, I now can see that this was indeed a tricky situation.

good recovery. mentor? they tend to horseshoe on b-stall. if you need to lose height quick i recommend bigears with spiral, no g force and sink values of 15m/sec or more possible! all the best

Why were you leaning into the spiral?

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that I was loading weight on the folded part of the wing. if I had shifted the weight to the open side I think I would still have been flying straight with the 2/3 of the wing left open.
