Thanks Simon. I use the jig all over on several different machines in many of my videos. If you are looking for more ideas, just search on the phrase "incra jig" on my channel home page and you will see lots more on the jig. :>)

Great stuff I have the LS positioner router setup. Quick question why are you using this instead of the tablesaw fence? I’m sure I’m missing something.

Thanks #2. I also have a Incra LS. Since I bought this Unisaw with the Biesemeyer fence I prefer it. I use the LS on my Legacy Mill mostly, but this little Incra is easier to set up on the fly anywhere. I had a viewer request to help him to set up another fence system cause his would never stay square (cheap saw). Most ripping cuts are less than 8" wide. this gets him by without buying an expensive fence. I use this same incra jig on my TS sled, my bandsaw, my Ridgid belt sander, and other things. For very little money, it can be used lots of different ways to make very accurate cuts. I have made several videos showing many different ways of using it.

Russ...." Now I see, said the blind man to the deaf & dumb guy"..LOL..!! Thanks for taking your time to set that up. Yes, I do believe that you are correct...that jig can save me a lot of measuring time to insure that the fence is parallel with the blade all along the length of the rip. A lady is letting me get the Oak lumber off an old & unused horse stall in exchange for me making her 2 end tables with the wood....a fair deal. So, yesterday and today I have been cutting & planing and then ripping out the bad areas and ripping the edges clean so I can glue up enough pieces to make the top 22 " square. My pieces vary in width and therefore I cannot just set the fence once and make a bunch of same size rips...so I have to adjust the fence for each piece. Yep...it has been getting rather tedious. This jig can speed that process up. Right now, my main need is to have accurate parallel dimensions so the edges will fit tight together and not have high spots or gaps when I glue them up and this will help that as well. And I'm gonna get me a block plane and make that jointer jig that you made and that will also help insure that the edges are 90 deg. from the flat side. Thanks again...

Ha...My table saw has the Sunhill name on it....not made anymore. It was made in Taiwan and is just a plane-jane contractor saw..belt drive / 1 HP motor. I bought it way back in about 2005 ....no dust collection ( half of the enclosure was not there ). It came with a standard type of metal stand so I enclosed the open areas all around and underneath, cut a hole in the underneath piece and now the sawdust drops down thru the hole and into a plastic container. When the container fills up, I put the chips & dust on my raised garden beds and mix it in. Certainly not the best way to catch the sawdust, but I have to make do with what I got...LOL. But I can get the blade square to the top and I enclosed my cheapo fence with some taller, smooth wood and that is square to the top too, so it's working rather good so far. Oh...I also have it running on 220 V. and that makes a big difference when I'm re-sawing thick and tall wood.

Hey Russ! Thanks for the video! Have you used the Incra jig on a bandsaw? I would love to see a video on that if it's possible... I'm in the market for a fence for my 14" Jet bandsaw and recently got an Incra jig for about $5 at a thrift store (looks damn near brand new , all the teeth are clean and sharp...) and am wondering if I can save myself $90 ...

Double Thanks (for subbing too) Noah. I have used the incra on my BS but the accuracy of the Incra never seems to be as critical as on other machines. Also, blade drift can be an issue with the incra. I'll show you my BS fence set up soon. I did attach my other incra to my legacy machine in an earlier video. Again, double thanks :>)

Thanks for replying Russ! I was thinking about getting the 6" riser and building a ripping fence to mill down my boards... (I'm not trying to make veneer ... however I would enjoy being able to make > 2/4 boards)

Looks like one end is screwed to the fence & the right end is screwed down on the MDF. Is that correct?

You must not have watched all my tablesaw videos (:>). Mostly because I do all videos in real time (no editing), I don't do the actual cuts unless it is really needed to prove a point. Thanks
