I put off getting an air fryer for years because I didn't want yet another appliance! I know so many people who love theirs so I finally broke down and bought one. I wanted to make sure I got a good one so I asked @Mandyinthemaking which one she loved and bought the one she recommended. No regrets here! I now get the hype and use it multiple times a week. Thanks, Mandy, for the recommendation!

I bought the Ninja Foodi for just that reason. It performs many cooking tasks including air frying. It saves on several appliances. I gave my regular air fryer to a friend. It is best to take the basket out and pour the food out. The bottom of the fryer basket will have some oil and it will pour out onto the food.

Greetings from Australia and I have just started following your channel in the past few months. As you get older, the doctors remind you to lose the saturated fats in your recipes. Now, we use our air fryer all of the time. With gluten and lactose problems shared between us, we can enjoy our comfort food in a much healthier process. GF Chicken nuggets with Thai sweet chilli sauce and natural yoghurt. Crunchy potato and sweet potato chips/fries. The recipes just keep coming to mind of how much we use this appliance. Yep, it is much more cleaner and safer than a deep frying technique, especially if you have toddlers in the home. Becky, I just wanted to add a comment to say that I am really enjoying your channel and are rather amazed at your initiative and productiveness. I found your channel, when my orchard came into fruit just before Christmas and I needed to work out how to do bottling/canning in a water bath; we have summer in Australia whilst you have winter in the USA. I usually make jams, relishes and chutneys with sterilised jars and wax sealing. But, I needed to freeze, dehydrate and especially jar up this fruit to enjoy during the months that our trees are dormant. You have inspired me to plant autumn/fall crops in my veggie garden, buy the Ball's preserving cookbook and make some pickles. After this video, I am adding condiments to my list. I've never heard of Bang Bang sauce and we love chilli dishes. My hubby is so thankful that I have found your channel and is enjoying my home-made goodies. So, here is a huge thank you for all of your inspirational vlogs from gardening to preserving. I cannot wait to enjoy the next video.

One of my favorite things to fix in my Air Fryer is Pork Tenderloin. I set it out on the counter for about 30 minutes to come to room temp, rub it down with olive oil and your favorite rub ( I usually make my own with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and dried parsley. ) Cook at 380 for approximately 10-15 minutes, flip and cook an additional 10 or so minutes. Comes out so tender and juicy. You should also try roasting different veggies in it. I love making Asparagus, brussels sprouts, roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes the list could go on. Just spray them with cooking spray, season them up and cook at 400 for 8-15 minutes depending on what veggie your making and you have an amazing side to go with any dinner you have planned.

Was fortunate that someone on Facebook market place offered a instant pot air fryer free because the handle was broken. I got it and used gorilla glue to glue it. I have been using it for about 5 years. I checked the American test kitchen testing air fryers and the instant pot that I have had been the winner for the past two years. I don't have a kitchen, I cook on a hotplate and toaster oven, and have a microwave. My daughter had a air frying similar to yours that sat for two years since she got it as a gift, so I asked to use it. I loved it, but my use, helped her realize that with 3 kids, its easy to use, doesn't heat the house, and cooks quickly. So I went looking to buy one for myself. I found one that is large enough for a 13 inch pizza, looks like a microwave, but is a toaster oven, convection, bake, dehydrate, air fry, and an air roast function. This gives me even more ways that I can easily cook food. I love it. It has a wire basket, to air fry in, and a pan that goes in the bottom, to catch anything or can be used to broil. Its ....so easy to clean. I haven't spent a lot of time trying new things, but I did make a loaf of banana bread in it. Because it is air, like yours it does make noise, however in this large one, its not as loud as the bucket style like yours. I learned a lot from this video.

This air fryer, is so much better, and easy to clean as well. It comes with a instruction book, that has a handful of recipes, I wish it had a lot more. It's hard to find a book, that uses the various features this oven has. I typically look online for how long to cook things in it. I got mine from Amazon, it was on sale, 20 dollars off, and I think there was a coupon I could click for even more off.

Enjoy your new Kitchen Toy, I love my AF and seeing a new users excitement on this tool. Just FYI , Seafood especially fish from a store in a package should be rinsed and then dried before use. As a Commercial Fishermans Wife I am spoiled and usually eat the fish the day it is caught. Do not keep fish for days in the fridge. Freeze if you can't cook it within 2 days, rinse and dry the fish and then vacuum pack or get the air out of a ziplock under water. Cook the day you buy or maybe the next day, When you get the fish home suggest you take out of the package, wrap in a paper towel then put in a Ziploc or sealed container. Change the paper each day. You don't want your fish filet sitting in those fish liquids.

Love the air fryer. Just run it in your pantry so the noise doesn’t disturb your video making. I use the liners, but don’t preheat with liners in the machine as they can fly up into the fan and burn. Just be aware that the upper fan will become coated with grease and more and will also require cleaning over time not just the basket. However, the air fryer is excellent for a far healthier way of cooking.

@Lucinda_Jackson
3 ай бұрын
One like Pam that uses a propellant will cause damage. The issue isn't the oil but the propellant. Most commercial olive or avocado sprays do NOT use propellants. The oil literally sits in a vacuum bag inside and the oil is forced through the nozzle by pressure. When you press the button, it allows air from the room to enter the can around the bag of oil which 'squeezes' the bag and pushes the oil out.

Happy Sunday Becky, Josh and friends.👋 I LOVE my air fryer countertop oven. I use it multiple times a day. It’s just me and my hubby (empty nesters). I only use my big oven for the Holidays. I’ve done EVERYTHING in my air fryer. I always mist what I’m cooking (proteins) with oil to aid in browning, especially when making fried chicken. I’m salivating watching you sauce that chicken. It fries fish good too. Fried food without all the grease, much healthier. I don’t cut foods out I adapt to make healthier. Yes, it’s MUCH CLEANER. I’m all for less cleaning.😁 I cannot stand frying on my stovetop. For me the mess is NOT worth it. There are those eyes that I love. You speak with your eyes. My daughter was the same when she was little.❤️ You can also get parchment paper inserts or cut them yourself. Big plus in the cleaning department. I ALWAYS use parchment paper. You can also cook halfway and flip so you guarantee browning/crisping on both sides. Yes, no fishy smell in the house with the air fryer. I do my chicken flour, egg, flour. Makes a nice crispy coating. Set for half the cooking time. Then flip, spray and continue for the remaining time. Yay, Josh likes the fried chicken sandwich.🎉🎉🎉 Yes, donuts in the air fryer. YUMMO! You are going to have SO MUCH fun experimenting with your new air fryer. Tfs, this was fun. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.🤗

Becky! I am so excited for you to explore your airfrier. It definitely is a useful tool in the kitchen. You asked for comments on those liners. I personally just use the basket. The only time i use parchment or a small piece of foil is if i reheat pizza so the cheese doesnt drip down through the grate. The foil i use if i make bacon in the air fryer for a BLT sandwich. It just helps with quicker clean up of the bacon fat (and with catching the bacon fat for other recipes). Easy clean up for your AF: fill your air fryer half ways with water and a teaspoon or two of dish soap. Pop it in for 350 degrees for 5 minutes or so. The heat sleeds up the reaction of the soap and helps degrease all those sticky backed on bits. It makes it supper easy to wipe out and just rinse. Its the easiest way i have found to clean mine and i love it. Especially since im a dishwasher kind of girl and you cant or i dont put it in the dishwasher haha. Hope you find rhis tip helpful!

You will be amazed at how often you will use it. I’ve done everything from making French fries to pork tenderloin and salmon. Tonight our dinner is salmon, baked potatoes with a side salad. Baked potatoes are great cooked in the air fryer. Looking forward to trying some of your recipes. 💕💕Debbie from Missouri

What are you spraying the food with just before you air fry it? Oh I'm glad to see this episode I don't have an air fryer for the same reason as yours - I just don't need anouther appliance, but this show is causing me to rethink my viewpoint. I'm really glad I caught this show today! Thanks for posting for us all to share!

I just recently purchased a air fryer, I love ours. I do not use the liners I don't want to block the air flow which is what makes the crispy crunch. My fryer is so easy to clean, I use a paper towel wipe out the oils then hand wash even though it says dishwasher safe.

I sneered at air fryers until I got one. It was half off, so I figured even if I hated it I wasn't out much money. I love it. It's a great appliance. I don't know how to use it well, so it's good to watch you use it.

Becky Have had air fryers about 10 years and believe me I use it, I’m now on my fourth one. The chicken would have browned better with a little spray of oil. If you don’t have an oil sprayer please get one. Not recommend to use sprays like Pam. I’m sure you use a better oil . The aresol oils have ingredients you don’t want in the fryer or on food.

Cathy from Empowered Cooks on YT does air fryer videos every week. I LOVE her Hibachi recipe. I make it with chicken, steak, or a mix of both. And be sure to make the Yum Yum sauce to go on top. Mmmmmmmmm! Edit - forgot to mention about the parchment paper liners - they are great for heating up spaghetti or something that would fall through the holes at the bottom. I don't like using them under stuff that needs to crisp up (like french fries or the chicken you were doing here) because it does impede the airflow from the bottom.

As a long time Airfryer user my top tips are = remember that all dishes continue to cook in the residual heat so be careful not to overcook I generally do 2-3 minutes less than recommended. I have a dual Ninja which is my 2nd Airfryer my first was a Tefal actifry back in early 2007. The dual Airfryer is great for smaller household ie you can cook 2 separate dishes in together with separate heat & times. Remember to read the instructions & cook book that comes with the Airfryer you purchase as they have already been tested.

Hey, Becky. If you want to start eating more seafood, I highly recommend Wild Alaska Seafood. It's sort of like Butcher Box, but for wild-caught Alaska seafood. I lived in Alaska for eleven years, and WAS is, by far, the best seafood I've been able to get my hands on now that I'm back to living in my home state of Colorado. It's a little pricy, but definitely worth it. No fishy flavor -- just beautiful, healthy, fresh wild-caught fish.

I have had my airfryer for over a year and absolutely love it. The model I have is made by a company called Tower T17076 combo 10 in 1 digital airfryer, it is not a drawer style but more like a small standard oven. I can also use it to rotisserie a chicken, make kebabs and dehydrate things like garlic, onions and ginger. Have a rotisserie basket to make UK chips or roast nuts to make nut butters. Actually I can not remember when I last used my actual oven.

Welcome to the wonderful world of air frying!! I got my first air fryer about 8 years ago and have never looked back!! I've always hated frying on the stove because of the awful, greasy mess that it makes, but I've used toaster broiler ovens for decades to prevent that mess......but, they were messy in their own way!! I've been totally captivated with all of my air fryers because the grease is so contained and I just pop the basket right into the dish washer. EASY PEASY!!! 🥰 Ninja makes a fabulous 8QT air fryer called the FOODI that doubles as a pressure cooker, that's my favorite of all my air fryers. I wouldn't use the paper because I think that it would not brown the underside of what you're cooking. The loud noise from the air fryers is the convection function to circulate the air to brown food on all sides, I never flip my food.

I originally got the basket airfryer and hated it because the size of the basket, it seemed to take too long if you were making chicken fingers or fries for more than 2 people. So i gave it away and gave up on airfryers, until i met the ninja, flip up airfryer. I am in love. It does a multitude of things besides airfrying, and flips up so its not taking up all my counter space. I use it everyday.

I too was reluctant to get an Airfryer, but with just the two of us at home, it is great. Roast vegetables, Sausages, Cheese rolls (a New Zealand specialty, do try), etc etc. WIth such an amazing kitchen, you have plenty of room for one, which is an issue with all the "extra" appliances. I find the noise reassuring!
