An idea for the kids ! I have seen where you take a dark blue sky print material and pin it to the top of the kids bunk tent and it really darkens the tent and gives them something to look ! It's like sleeping under the stars every night if you choose a print like that !

For cabinets it is best to use the Door & Trim paint. It dries much harder than regular paint. I learned about at Sherwin-Williams. That is what I used on my pop up camper cabinets.

This is good to know. I just finished a reno of a 1998 Coleman Redwood and I have chipping here and there. This winter I might repaint everything. So have you had any type of chipping or has that paint been good?

Fort Wilderness is great. And you are right you don’t need to go to a Disney park. You can take the boat over to downtown Disney or to some of the hotels and just walk around to see them. We even got into,some of the hotel pools! Lol. There is a ton of stuff to do in the campground so you will have a great time.

Pop Up Life We do remove them from each window. I just lay them flat or fold them in half and lay them flat on top of the mattress of each bunk and that they go in. The ones from the kitchen and living areas I just roll or fold and shove under the dinette bench

This was great!! We do a lot of volunteer disaster relief work after hurricanes and such down south, we're just up in TN. But with the pandemic we didn't want to have to stay with people for their safety and ours. We have some health issues so just need to be extra careful, plus it's nice sometimes after a long day of roofing or mold removal to just have your own space to rest :) but, being out of work most of this time and barely making it now, a big trailer isn't possible. Then suddenly my husband found apparently a great deal on a hybrid, I think its called that...a trailer with bathroom and stuff but the front and back pop out for beds? And he bought it...so...now I'm just trying to look around to learn about anything to do with this type of stuff. Supposedly its in good condition, but the typical brown, so I'd love to do some things inside to feel more us and lighten it up...but inexpensive! I also just read stuff (from some that hated theirs so freaks me out) about the condensation and things, so trying to learn...in a bit of panic mode as it just suddenly got done last night and the reality is hitting me and hoping it was a good call 🙄😳🤢😬 Thanks a bunch for the info here and I'll look for more on your channel!! :)

Thank you for sharing your remodeling tips. We just bought our pop up 4 days ago. We watched several make over video's. Thank you for sharing about the primer & chalk paint. That will help. We took everything out of the camper except the shower/toilet. And one seating section. We plan to cook & eat out side. We ordered the fish cleaning table for a sink, a tankless water heater, and an ice machine to replace all the items we took out. We are a family of 9. We need the space. We loved tent camping. It seems easier to have everything loaded up & ready up go. Just add food & clean clothes. I'm excited to see your adventures. 👍 Oh, where can I get an awning like yours? We will need that. Thank you.

We bought a 1992 Coleman Sedona and have remodeled it completely. My question is: is there a way to hang curtains that you don't have to take down when we are on the road. Tried curtain rods and that did not work. Thanks for any help. Glenda and David Grubbs
@PopUpLife
3 жыл бұрын
We use a tension rod and its been in place 6 months and we never have to take it down. The other option is to buy little clips with hooks- I clip the fabric and then use the hooks on the tracks. Lastly, the harder and more time consuming project I did was where I was about to give the old curtains off the track, I cut along the top strip where clips where on the curtain. I then had someone sew that strip on my new curtains and I threaded it back on the track. However, I was not able to take every curtain on the track- some of them were impossible to take off so I just cut the curtain but left the clips on the track. I've seen some people use velcro or another sticky substance and stick the new curtain on top of the old track clips.
