Perhaps someone should explain forestry for you. If the forestring is done right there are new trees growing up at the same or faster than the old trees are cut down. And a growing tree is better for the enviroment than an old tree. A growing tree is cleaning the air much more efficient than an old tree when growing up.

Well, trees are one of the most environmental building materials, and they are easy to handle. One just have to make sure that you don’t cut trees in areas that should be preserved, for example rain forests or very old forests with rare species. I found myself looking for 'incredible modern big wood cutting machines" and for the first couple of minutes there was a guy who really knew how to use a chainsaw and sledge hammer. Then some guy (I'm guessing Russia or eastern Europe) using a plank cutter that looked like it was from 1934. Do I keep watching or do I bail? Then the rock music started and this video got pretty cool. Glad I stayed.
