What a party. I'm very annoyed that I didn't just make a quick decision and just didn't go to work on Monday. But I was lucky at the Flensburg Fjord in 2014, there I had a very nice northern light (my first) and even with Denmark in the background.

Amazing Mads!! It was truly a spectacular show and completely mind blowing to see this in Denmark. I believe even in the very north part of Denmark it was even more crazy! Brilliant with the Timelapses and picking out the best RAWs. 👍 And also a point worth noting - crazy how fast you have produced this video! It was almost like yesterday this happened - you have been busy 😁👍🙏 Amazing content 🙏

Even tho i am 9 months late i can assure you it looked amazing. I was standing by the Limfjord in Nordjylland near the small town of Ærtebølle and it was just unbelieveable to see, the movement in the auroras was out of this world and with the bright red sky and the small hints of green in the bands aswell, a truly unforgetable night!

We were getting the Southern Lights in Australia, last week. And a long way north , which was unexpected, as far north as 32 South (Dubbo in NSW or Perth in WA), an equivalent would be seeing the Northern Lights from Casablanca. Same magic colours.

The first time you see the Northern Lights it WILL blow you away. It's amazing how saturated they can get. I've seen almost neon reds and greens and some pretty good blues. The first time you see them, you hope it's not aliens coming to "cleanse" the planet. HA!

Absolutely fantastic Mads! Beautiful images. Years ago, when I lived in Anchorage, AK, We would see the Lights to the north on a regular basis. However, one night the lights were directly overhead. What a mind blowing display that was! Instead of curtains of light pulsating back and forth it was like millions of shafts of light coming straight down on our heads. I'll never forget that. I'm glad you got such an impressive show. Makes me want to see them again. Love the channel and never miss a new episode. Thanks.

Nice!! I'm from the southern US so we almost never see any hint of the Aurora Borealis. However, I've seen it once from southern Mississippi at 31 degrees north. It was a red glow to the north, which we assumed was a distant wildfire or something. But it was the Aurora. I barely perceived it as a VERY slight red hint to the sky near my home at 32 degrees north. It showed up clearly on a photo, but was just on the edge of naked eye detection. Both times it was just red, no green, no curtains, no pulses - Just a glow. Then again, I'm an amateur astronomer so if the Aurora was there every night I'd be frustrated. 😀

I experienced and photographed my first Aurora on this day, only I was in my garden, 15 minutes from Gothenburg! It was amazing!! Had trouble with my gear, my preferred lens did for some reason not work so I had to change lenses( a bad photographer blames the gear, yeah yeah)…Think it was moist on the connecting sensors (?). Didn’t think I would get any images at all so I’m super pleased with the ones I’ve got! Thank you for your efforts doing this video, you are an amazing photographer and a big inspiration! Felt a bit sorry for that person in your video that didn’t quite know how to take pictures of the Aurora, I would die a little if I was making it into your videos, and my part was “as the one who doesn’t know what they’re doing”, but that would have been my role 😬😅🤩
