Bulgur is a cereal made from dried crushed wheat, mainly durum varieties. Crude cereals are used to create bulgur. This is a great alternative to our usual cereals, such as buckwheat or brown rice. It can be consumed both for breakfast and lunch.
You will need:
Bulgur
Mushrooms
Onion
Carrot
Garlic
Spices (paprika, rosemary, thyme, cumin)
Finely chop onion, carrot, garlic.
Cut the mushrooms into medium cubes.
Rinse the bulgur and discard it on a sieve.
Fry onions, carrots, mushrooms, spices and bulgur alternately in a frying pan.
Pour hot water and cook over low heat, under a closed lid until the bulgur is ready (about 20 minutes).
