Sturdy closed-toe footwear and water bottles are advised when visiting the area. Garbage cans and bathrooms are only available at the parking lot,
so plan according and make sure to pack out your trash and follow other Leave No Trace principles. Dogs must be on a leash.
Do not approach the cattle closer than 300 feet.
California newt or orange-bellied newt can be found near the base of the waterfalls. I wouldn't recommend touching one because Its skin produces the potent toxin ,although if you were to touch one they
probably wouldn't hurt you as long as you washed your hands right after. However do have enough poisonous toxin to kill you if you were to eat one. So Do Not Eat It.
