Jose Pasillas! He did drum solos at a couple of Incubus shows I saw way back in the day, and he was lights out amazing. Definitely qualifies as underrated.

They played the fk outta this song!!! I've seen this so many times on tv... have seen/ heard them do many covers in their time but I think this is probably their finest "cover moment." I'm not a drummer but this song seems like a hell of a workout... Jose looks like he's about to collapse at the end!

I like the hard rock feel of "I can see for miles" live.

"I Can See For Miles" Incubus performing at the VH1 Rock Honors. In all fairness, Drummer {Jose Pasillas 'II'} of Incubus admitted that trying to Drum to this song was 'near' impossible. In '4' earlier rehearsals, he was even worse. This was his best effort.

OK so it's not the Who..But Brandon did a great job singing this Classic Rock song..All the band members did a great job as well..Incubus is a pretty good rock band, it's not easy to follow one of the greatest rock bands of my time The Who..But then again, most of the music back in the day was the best!..I really was blessed to be born at the right time when Rock N Roll was the best! I found Incubus by accident on KZitem..And thought a lot of their song were pretty cool, and now I'm a Fan..Even my generation can get into Incubus, if you know your music and what you like in a rock band..To be honest, I'm not into loving all the songs..But there are more I like then I don't like...And how can anyone not love Brandon's voice! And Mike and the rest of the guys are good musicians..And they seem like nice guys and good friends too..I find that to be really Cool and I dig that too!

@musicgirl999 So lucky! I have watched the entire show over 50 times. It looks like every single person there had an utter blast! May I ask how much it cost to get in?

Incubus just learned this song that day so cut them some slack. Of course it never touches the original but the effort and energy is there. And for people who are shitting on Jose Pasillas drumming...go listen to his drumming on an LP called Science and come back and tell me that's a shitty drummer.

@shazamm3 yeah Keith Moon was one hell of a drummer. the guy had endless energy. until of course, alcohol tragically cut off the energy flow

This sounds incredibly rude and patronising to Incubus; it isn't meant to...If your dog learns to write, the first thing you do is NOT criticise its spelling...this version of I Can See For Miles is the first one in 40 years - in music that's a whole world away. Incubus did their respectful utmost for this song, and, imho, nailed it. Put it this way, after it failed to get to no.1 in the UK charts, Pete Townshend swore he would never again play it live. Since Incubus played it, it has been included in the Who's live set, which I was lucky enough to hear again this summer, xxx

It is a fine cover. Moon s' drummin on this one, is classic and few nowdays drummers dare to try to copy it. Even Kenney Jones or any other drummers The Who had after Jones, could do it.
