Shekhar is feeling so much bad for Pakistan going down by 1 rank to the 16th spot as compared to his happiness, if any for India rising by 1 rank to 3rd spot!!! For Pakistan he is giving so many excuses but for India, he says there is also a bad news but somehow overall, India inched up by 1 rank!!! So this is in nutshell Shekhar for you!!! 2. Anyway, leaving aside Shekhar, we must take this report seriously and understand where we can improve. Hopefully Modi Govt is reviewing this report seriously. India is bigger than USA + EU + Russia + Japan + Koreas combined + Arabian Peninsula. You can't expect Japan like efficiency as the population is too high. You can expect China type Infrastructure after you surpass $7 trillion USD GDP which is most likely by year 2028 or 2029 thanks to compound GDP growth. Japan still has rural areas if you move outskirts of Tokyo. High Speed Railways are expensive to mentain & fares are high hence why they are good for small countries like Japan, Korea, Sweden, France or Germany. If you implement High-speed rail in a big country like India or China or USA the Railways will go bankrupt & become an NPA like in China. You just can't copy paste different aspects of success stories in India. You have to go through the first principles. Become a high-end industrialized state first & time to let go the sheer madness of emmission norms & environmental norms.

The math of relative performance between India and Pakistan is not entirely correct. India is 3.9 down as an underachiever on a base of 39.1 which is roughly 10% underachievement while Pakistan is 3.9 down on a base of 14.6 which is roughly 26% underachievement. In % terms compared to their actual potential Pakistan is way worse off in comprehensive national power in relative terms. The same can be applied to the US - being down 1.5 on a base of 81.7 doesn't mean the US is underachieving 38% (1.5/3.9) but more so 2% down from its potential CNP. That said, India needs to work on its military networks and economic relationships to become a Major power in the rankings and shed the underachiever tag.

This comment fails to recognize that economic growth and global rankings can play a significant role in improving the living conditions of millions. While it's true that many people face challenges, dismissing India's progress ignores the potential for enhanced investments, job creation, and infrastructure development that come with being a leading economy. Additionally, focusing solely on current struggles without acknowledging advancements can undermine efforts to address these issues. It’s essential to strike a balance between recognizing existing problems and supporting initiatives that aim to uplift the population.

Rape cases in India are often rooted in cultural issues, with some men wrongly believing that a woman's clothing justifies assault. Sadly, women are sometimes objectified rather than respected as individuals. The prevalence of rape in India is concerning, with many cases going unreported due to social stigma or the influence of powerful perpetrators. Shockingly, studies show that around 70 rape cases occur daily in India, yet only a small percentage are reported. Many perpetrators hold positions of power or are even relatives of the victims. It's crucial for Indians to not only take pride in their economic status but also take responsibility for addressing the alarming rate of sexual violence in the country.

While the comment raises important issues regarding cultural attitudes and the prevalence of rape in India, it may oversimplify the complex factors at play. Blaming cultural beliefs and clothing choices does not account for the broader societal, legal, and systemic failures that contribute to sexual violence. Furthermore, focusing solely on the idea of men objectifying women overlooks the need for comprehensive education and reforms that target all aspects of this crisis, including law enforcement accountability and support systems for survivors. Addressing these issues requires a multifaceted approach rather than attributing the problem to cultural attitudes alone.
@Hercules55q

@@Pain-zd5uo you mean While acknowledging the significance of the issues raised regarding cultural attitudes and rape prevalence in India, it's crucial to recognize that attributing these problems solely to cultural beliefs and clothing choices is not necessarily oversimplifying the matter. By addressing these cultural roots, we can effectively tackle deeply ingrained societal, legal, and systemic issues that perpetuate sexual violence. Moreover, highlighting the objectification of women by men is a critical step in understanding and combating gender-based violence, serving as a foundation for comprehensive education and reforms that encompass various aspects of this complex issue. It's essential to approach these challenges from multiple angles, including cultural attitudes, to create lasting change.
@Pain-zd5uo
Сағат бұрын
@@Hercules55q I appreciate your points, but I still believe it’s important to look at the bigger picture. While cultural attitudes play a role, we must also focus on improving laws, support systems, and how society treats victims. Addressing just cultural beliefs won’t solve the problem alone. We need to tackle all aspects together to make real progress against sexual violence.
