Starting a food business is easy.. Staying in business is tough. There has to be magical connection between the taste and the expectations of your customers. Once you establish it, one can sustain that through quality and that unique taste that customers crave for. As a 15:16 successful entrepreneur in that line of business I can say this. Customers don’t mind paying a little more, but won’t compromise on taste and quality.

Excellent story but couple of points. 1) are they considering plastic free options for packaging because that is one of the biggest reason for not purchasing packaged food. 2) really appreciate the efforts to make the ingredients more visible for customer awareness, are there enough food inspection quality checks being done even otherwise? while we should trust his honesty, will they be able to survive the competition having poor quality food with marketing gimmicks in long run?

Maida and Wheat are from the same Grain "Wheat". One is a Super Refined Form and the Other is a Refined/Semi Refined Form. It is the difference in milling and what is called a mesh factor when you make any Solid into a Powder.
@shihabea6607
9 ай бұрын
Actually it is not.. Atta: Whole wheat flour made by grinding the entire wheat grain, including the bran, germ, and endosperm. This results in a coarser texture and a nutty flavor. Maida: Refined flour made only from the endosperm of the wheat grain. The bran and germ are removed, giving it a finer texture and a neutral flavor.
@vinayshankaremani
9 ай бұрын
@@shihabea6607 The Source is Wheat Grain. Right? How can it be different? Yes I agree that different layers of the same Wheat Grain may change the characteristics of the end product.
@vinayshankaremani
9 ай бұрын
@@shihabea6607 That is exactly what I said in my reply. One is a coarser form the other one is a finer/refined form. These are physical characteristics. The content of both the flour's is the same Wheat Grain. This is how I see it. You may differ. I am okay with it.
@shihabea6607
9 ай бұрын
@@vinayshankaremani No brother. You are not right. Let me try to help you here. All these differences are because atta does have the bran and the outer layers of wheat but maida has only inner thing.. The difference is not just in the fineness of the powders. The contents itself are different. 1. Atta.. Rich in fibres. Good for healthy digestion. Maida- zero fibre. Unhealthy 2. Atta contains Vitamins like B E and many minerals like magnesium and phosphorus. Maida doesn't have any of these because the bran is removed. 3. Atta has lower glycemic index of 54 and maida has 75. I hope this will help. If you still want to serve your egocentric bias about these things its your choice. I have no problems.
@shihabea6607
9 ай бұрын
@@vinayshankaremani Source is not the same. Atta uses the whole wheat grain but maida uses only the endosperm of that grain which has only carbohydrates but no other parts..

Halal is required when you are exporting to Gulf countries, here politicians are communalizing it.
@gpsudhakar123
9 ай бұрын
@nsha4535 It is just that we should not misrepresent based on marketing convenience. Maybe its a good idea to have two factories rather than camaflouging in one market. Another approach is to mention the certification in India also. Worst case, some people may not buy. A good brand should not be sneaky.
@nsha4535
9 ай бұрын
@@gpsudhakar123 what is the problem with having a Halal certificate in purely vegetarian products? OK, agree, it is not required. I have seen it in many products which are exported to the Gulf countries. The present situation about Halal is just politics. We are the biggest exporters of beef, and most of the companies are owned by Hindu high-class people and the companies are in UP.
@gpsudhakar123

@nsha4535 is it not misrepresentation based on marketing convenience? Your asking what is wrong with Halal certification clearly indicates your insensitivity. No use continuing this discussion. Your position is clear. Thanks
