I went to India in Summer 2022 and decided to vlog it because my best friend, Abby, said it would be interesting. Shout to bestie Abby! I love India so much, and this was my 9th time going. It had been four years since we last went because of COVID, so it was so nice to go back and see family that I hadn't seen in years. Some common themes in this video are eating, traffic, and mosquito bites. I feel like those three words (I'm counting mosquito bites as one word) sum up my India experience. As always, a huge thank you to my family for showering us with love every time we go back home and being the best family I could ask for. Fun Fact - I am currently eating banana chips and typing this, so my keyboard is getting salt all over it. Good think I have a keyboard cover. Anyways, I apologize for my poor editing skills like I usually do - maybe one day, I'll get good enough at KZitem that I can hire an editor (I have to post regularly for that to happen tho). I've given up on trying to become good at editing videos - iMovies is still too complicated for me. In the video, my hair is super frizzy from the humidity, my face is a bit swollen from water retention due to the heat, and my acne is also bad because of the climate - I love being in India, but my body is not used to that tropical climate. Part of being a Nebraska girlie is that I can handle -20 degrees Fahrenheit better than I can handle a humid 80 degrees with no AC.
In all seriousness, I had an amazing time in India. I love my family so much, and every time we go back, seeing them all makes me want to move back to India. India is such a beautiful, vibrant nation with an incredible diversity of people, languages, and cultures. It is a privilege to be able to call this great nation home. I feel like India often doesn't get the credit she deserves, so I hope this video shows you how phenomenal my country is.
