Acceleration is wicked. Love the timings. Great point that this is not for 200kmph. People don't understand that a cruiser is not supposed to act like a sports bike.

Sir Can you tell me when is throttle body cleaning done..is there any specific km range or any signs tell you to do it. Also should we add flush to the engine oil during first serice or just replacing oil is enough sir

@@amrutpat12 you just bought the bike! Relax! TB cleaning won't come until the 5th or 6th service. Also, read the owner's manual like it's the syllabus of your 10th standard board exams.

@@NewsXAuto yes sir I was jist just asking cuz I was curious about the term..also sir the bike is great thankyou for the recommendation(vibey in low speeds and lower gears but smooth in the higher ones its fun and a new experience)also one problem I had is hardly 100 on the odo but the check engine lights on..the bike runs well but I'm not sure what it is..the dealer said it's nothing just ride it but I think I should take it to the SC..what do you think sir? Is this a common phenomenon? I ask you all my doubts because you care about your subscribers and actually reply to Long queries unlike other journalists who treat the subscribers like a number on youtube for views and likes..

@@NewsXAuto sir went to the sc, they resolved it in a few minutes, with some ecu update..seems like it was some error code..also there were lot of vibes in 2nd and 3rd gear it felt like someone is pulling the bike from the back but i asked around it seems like its a common in all 250s so not worried on that front as well..i fueled up with hp power petrol and vibes have reduced considerably.. guess the high compression ratio likes better fuel..i have ridden 18 yr old honda activa since last 10 years or so but have ridden all kinds bikes by borrowing from shine to classic 350 to speed 400..but now with my own first ktm theres a big learning curve! The ktm manual however isnt as elaborate as the himalayan 450(yes i watched your running in video sir) but ill make do..also sir how to ride the bike in lower rpms when the engine gets buzzy in 3rd gear at 30 to 50 kmph speeds and starts lugging if we do those speeds in 4th 5th gear? Cant open throttle due to rpm lock and running in and riding at slow speeds feels like bike is struggling..how to approach this scenario..thanks sir

Sir got the duke250 2024 andI had a small doubt Are the first and second gears very short? Also do vibrations go away after 1st service or there is no difference? When I had taken test ride in may I found the bike to he very smooth in all gears However in my unit there are lot of vibrations at 2nd and 3rd gear in 4k to 6k rpm range( feel it on the handles, pegs, tank shrouds as well) Rpm is locked at 7.5k rpm as of now and I'm not pushing either

@@amrutpat12 Relax! There's nothing to worry. The engine will smoothen out with every service. It will then settle after the 3rd service 😃

The acceleration is mind-bogglingly quick for such a massive full-dresser bike! 🤯 I thought it'd have a top speed much higher than 178 km/h. Since it reached that in 4th gear itself, is it possible that 5th and 6th gear might be overdrive or somewhat similar? However, I do feel disappointed that you did not answer one question that I had about the Gurkha. Thanks a lot for this video, though!
@NewsXAuto
Ай бұрын
No no, that's not the case. There's no OD ratio here. It's just that the top speed is restricted. 😃 And which question are you referring to about the Gurkha?
@fancyyahoo
Ай бұрын
@@NewsXAuto my question about the Gurkha was that whether if the driver is also 6 feet-tall and has adjusted the seat according to himself/herself, will there be enough space directly behind for a 6 feet-tall passenger as well? However, I should've given you the benefit of the doubt because I couldn't find any video of you testing the Gurkha's interior room either. The bike's top speed did seem artificially restricted, given that the acceleration quickly tapered off upon reaching that speed, but I didn't notice that earlier before you pointed it out. Thank you for that!
