The point of my comment was - We should celebrate what this channel is about which is that dance and art in general in reflecting on the human condition as such go beyond barriers of caste, class, religion and nations. and therefore we must not see every dance as just an expression of cultural pride and national pride. It is much more than that. It has more to do with our nature as human beings who can express through gestures and movements of body. Saying that oh this is indian dance! Oh i love my country. Which i am sure all of us do is not the point. We should actually celebrate the dancer for the wonderful dancer she is. We should celebrate the dance for how wonderful an art form people from our culture have access to. We should celebrate this fellow youtuber who is going around and dancing with different people and different cultures and thereby making the point that dance connects. That at the heart all of us humans dance and that makes us more alike despite our differences. The discourse of nationalism divides and takes pride in such divisions. We should not subsume everything that is beautiful about each culture, each dance under the rhetoric of nationalism. And apart from that. Thank you for your stupid comment about dance being haraam my dear friend. I condemn those who believe that. I am sure you might also have relatives and friends who stick to irrational and fundamental beliefs owing to their faith in religion. It's the same with us. No more, no less. But It just shows how narrow your lens is and how rather than asking questions, how comfortable you are in slandering. I do not have an answer for you. You do not deserve one.
