What icf took decades to achieve was achieved by titagarh wagons in few years . I never heard about titagarh wagons . However after watching this video I researched and found it to be amazing. Now I feel if VANDE BHARAT was designed by titagarh wagons they would have got much swankier and better designs(even though current vande bharat is great they would have been better)

I live in sodepur which is 10 minutes from titagarh (2 stops by local train). I use to watch their Rail wagon plant everyday while going to school, never knew they were making trains abroad too. Very Proud of them.

I am from Barrackpore ( just beside Titagarh) , proud that one of the companies in this area is doing good. Previously, Barrackpore Industries belt was one of the biggest Industrial belts in India, but everything faded away with time.

लेकिन भारत मे एक एसि मानसिकता है के. देश कि कंपनी अगर बढति है तो उन्हे खेद होता है बल्कि सरकार पर तंज कसने का मौका लगता है. एक समय था जब हमे बाहर कि कंपनिया लुट रहि थि. हम कंफेक्षनरि, ब्रेवरिज, यहा तक डेअरि कंपनियो के द्वारा भि लुटे जा रहे थे. और लोग भि इसके खिलाफ बोलते थे. लेकिन जब हमारे देश कि कंपनियोने इनका डोमेनेंस खत्म कर दिया है तो अभि लोगोको दिक्कत हो रहि है. टिटागड को हमने पुणे मेट्रो रेक और औस्ट्रेलिया मे भेजे रेक्स के वजह से जाना है. लेकिन देश कि बहोत से कंपनिया आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अछा काम कर रहि है बल्कि अग्रेसर भि है. इसि सरकार के कार्यकाल मे देश कि टाटा इंफ्रा, L&T, जैसि कंपनिया सरकार के बुते पर बाहर के टेंडर जितने मे कामयाब हो रहि है. ये एक अछा संकेत है के अब भारत का दायरा बढा है. मैने तो सुना हैके बुर्ज खलिफा के कुलिंग सिस्टीम टाटा वोल्टास ने बनाया है. अब हमे विदेशि कंपनियोके साथ भारत कि कंपनी भि समांतर दिख रहि है.

There are multiple plants of Titagarh in Kolkata. Good to see they are grabbing attentions. After COVID they were under crisis and even before COVID they sold one of their plant to Alstom. However historic government order has helped it to gain traction in orders.

Good but now alot METRO projects are underway in India so lots of demand for metro trains/coaches hence number of companies started to manufacturing them locally also they had to look for its sell so they approached to EUROPEAN ( GLOBALLY) countries and got order mainly DUE TO CHEAPER PRICE. ITALY IS HIGHLY IN DEBT WITH CHINA. MG( MORRIS GARAGE) automaker company is originally UK based but own by CHINESE company & selling cars in INDIA and elsewhere. Due to economic slowdown + corona pandemic in EUROPE ( MOSTLY ITALY ETC EU COUNTRIES) ' ACQUISITION AND MERGER' of EU companies with alot of Indian/ Chinese owner companies had possible.

Titagarh is very close to my house. I live in Ichapur(aka Ishapore). Then comes Palta, Barrackpore and Titagarh. And these places are located in North 24 pgs, WB.

We are proud that an entity has grown up and doing well in technology of metallurgy and marine engineering based out of Kolkata. In this context I would like to highlight and question some of narrators remarks, the entire world was operating in regional closed economy prior to globalization, there is no point in shouting at PSU and calling them slow and idle, the major technological breakthrough in this country has been brought by PSU, some of sultan Modi and godi media's pride, aircraft carrier grade steel developed and manufactured by SAIL, cryogenic engine designed and developed by ISRO, LCA designed by NAL and ADA and manufactured by HAL, broadcast equipment designed and developed by ECI, first metro rakes Kolkata by ICF, railway reservation computerized system by CMC , access control by KALTRON , The list is very long for cow dung politics to understand and digest, these are the proud institutes of India which engineers and scientists and we the people tax money have built decades of blood and Toil, no Modi Amit Shah.

Its not true, BEML & ICF-Medha also makes Metro in India. BEML Mumbai Metro is one of the most modern metro i have ever seen.

Mere Ghar se 30 minutes dur hai inka first factory. Aur GANGA river k opposite side mai Inka train banane ka factory hai. Titagarh ka asli naam hai Itagarh. Lekin log isse Titagarh bulate hai. Titagarh k pass Barrackpore hai Jo ki ek Army Cantonment hai. Barrackpore mai MANGAL PANDEY JI ki phansy Diya gya tha. Aur Barrackpore k baad Palta naam ka ek jagaha hai. Yeha pe Indian Air force ka ek base hai. Palta k baad Ichapur naam ka ek jagaha hai uhape Ichapur weapon factory hai.

Aerodynamic trains designs needed making wagons is just on wheels. India needs indian made engines, indian made turbines for railway, could use gas or hydrogen gas for cut the pollution. India have ban diesel cars and buses.
