You’re right about what is causing your studs to fail. If they are constantly getting loose, then that’s a sure sign the stud has been stretched to yield. Once it’s stretched that far they will never stay tight because they can’t spring back.

Another great video in the bag talk about challenges that you overcame on the road. At least you’re able to do it at Grand Island love the music and then you switched right over to the bad weather and snow. He had me laughing. Yeah that’s happened to me all too often. Yeah thanks to you and david I just got my dash cam set up a few days ago and I absolutely love this thing. I don’t know how to use it but I’m learning.

I had trouble with those lug nuts before. In my opinion those lug nuts have a skin on them to make them look like chrome. The treads are only on 1/2 the nut at the most. The skin corrodes and when you put a socket over it you knock some of the crap off on the inside and it lands on the threads of the studs and when removing the nut you are trying to spin it through all the crap. A few years ago when trying to remove the nuts they jammed from all the debris. I snapped 8 studs trying to get the nuts off. In your case you are getting the nuts on and off but it is stressing the threads. I now use the GM nuts where you can see part of the stud still and you are supposed to put a center cover over. Hadn't had an issue since. Just my 2 cents. These are $100,000 trucks and they still use the cheapest parts they can find.

I've had issues in the past breaking lug nuts on my race car I replaced the with arp studs to fix the problem. Buy I'm pretty sure the problem was tightening them up with the wheels hot from the breaks the aluminum wheels and steel studs expand at different rates. When you tighten them with it hot then the steel cools it stretches the stud

Thank you, I'm noticing same thing. If i had to buy another truck i would find a low milage truck 2019 and older preferably 2016 or older but that's just me and even those are getting hard to find with less than 100k miles on them

That lug nut with the washer on it that you got from Tractor Supply is the same type as Ford uses on their trucks. I like that idea better however it is still a Ford. I think your difficulty with getting those new studs in is due to the cold rotor where you are and a "room temperature" stud. The metal has expanded on studs and contracted a bit on the cold rotor. Just a guess. What happened with the oil pressure issue? I didn't see a video of explanation. I guess I just missed it.

Rates are cheaper right now and it definitely pays less than it did 1 year ago. I'm happy with what i make but I've been gone 2 weeks from home and going back to get another load before i go home. All depends on how much you need to make vs how long you're willing to stay out in my opinion. Hard question to answer because everyone's finances are different. Wish i could be more help
