Beautiful...I love all of their Songs. I thought Emily would choose Language or the Kiss but yeah, She's saving me is so touching especially if you have lost a sister that literally saved you. Share the Moon is a perfect Song for anyone..

What struck me when I first heard them years ago was how articulately written their songs are. You just have to stop and listen to what’s being said…and everything else is just icing. 💐

I love watching you play. The song is masterfully written but everytime I watch your hands I learn a little something. Nice one count lift off. Gives a good effect. I also like slippin that pick in there for a more pronounced sound during the solo. Masterfully done. Such wonderful tones. Love you two.

Your songs have brought my aunt and her twin daughters closer together, and me and my mom closer together. You girls are the backbone of our entire family. Last year, one of my three fish (my only pets at the time) had passed away. That was the day of your girls' concert, so you made me feel so much better. Thank you for all of your beautiful, meaningful songs. Every single one of them is beautiful. You have bound me and my mom together forever, and I thank you for that. You girls have an extreme talent and are the only thing getting me through this quarantine. Thank you, Emily Sailers and Amy Ray

We were sitting round a dying fire Somebody lit incense Somebody lit a cigarette And passed a bottle around It was just strawberry season Backbreaking pickers in the patches Everythings burning down to ashes And down to the ground She's saving me I don't even think she knows it It's a strange way to show it as distant as Last nights dream unravels She's saving me I'm a very lost soul I was born with a hole in my heart The size of my land locked travels I try to put it aside But it's too much bigger than me There's a big brown hawk in the tree Lighting and leaving And there's tea leaves tossing Heads up pennies in my pocket Dead star like a rocket The arc of my grieving She's saving me I don't even think she knows it Its a strange way to show it As distant as last nights dream unravels She's saving me I'm a very lost soul I was born with a hole in my heart The size of my land locked travels The sky pours out biblical rain Then days so still the beauty gives you pain The heatwave kills the green And she remains unseen But colors up my dreams With all things blooming This is not all there is It's not a kingdom It's not an angry god It feels like her It feels like no fear It feels like no doubt It feels like inside out The ashes stir She's saving me I don't even think she knows it Such a strange way to show it as distant as Last nights dream unravels She's saving me I'm a very lost soul I was born with a hole in my heart The size of my land locked travels

talk about god breaking the molds.......I'm a 44 year old politically conservative (fiscal conservative, socially liberal) straight Jewish male, and the IGs have been a constant in the soundtrack of my contradictory, sometimes oxymoronic life, anchoring me at times, other times, bringing me home, back to the construct of who I believe I am. it's hard to explain. like how they write this song. I have to believe its magic. they make me believe in magic. ridiculous.

Incredible to me that Emily thinks this is her best song ( just because there are so many of them!). If I had to pick my most favorite song of Emily’s I think I’d pick Virginia Wolf, but clearly that’s just my opinion. I do love this song though and remember that the first time I ever heard it was live, and I definitely got welled up with tears.
