After MCO, I found out the best Chili powder or curry powder is Babas brand ! Thanks for sharing your yummy recipes. Chili powder is so red, so pretty after fried. When we add in the santan, coconut milk, we MUST stir and stir until it boils only then there will not have 2 layers of curry sauce in the bowl. If you let it boils by itself and not stiring all the time, 2 layers will formed.

Auntie Liew 🥰 this recipe is a keeper. I cooked it last night, my first time cooking curry chicken from scratch, and it tasted wonderfully aromatic and super delicious. I didn't have the chilli sauce you mentioned so I used chilli powder ... still very good. And I really appreciate all the tips you mentioned like putting the coconut milk only at the end of cooking! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful recipes. So far I have tried 4 of your recipes, lor mai kai, ma lai kou, chicken chop and this Indonesian curry chicken, and they all taste delicious 💪. I'm quite new to cooking and your videos provide very clear instructions which make cooking enjoyable 😉. Thank you once again and I look forward to see more new recipes from you soon 👏👏👏

Hi Aunty I just cook your curry recipe just now. I added 2 bay leaves n 5 pcs of cardamon. 3 pcs of pandan leave were added with the coconut milk. Now my whole house smell of the fragrant of the curry. 😋🤣Tq.

Dear ?? How should I address you respectfully without using the word auntie? Questions 1. can I cook this in advance, cool in down and then add coconut milk when it’s reheated before serving? 2. Can the palm or coconut sugar be added if it’s too salty? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Halli Master Chef, KL liew.. Recipe u cukup bagus ada sidikit step yang silap ya.. Masa u tumis, garam dan belachen ada mustahak pada step petama.. Tapa lempah u sudah wangi dan harum megapah u bubuh daun curry lagi.. Kerana bunga chinkey u sudah bubuh lebih 3 kutum ya.. Jika kuah curry berasa santan putih. U boleh bubuh serbuk chilli yg Cap Babas bagi kuah u colour lebih cantik dan harum.. Ok. Kita kongsikan recioe.. Gd job.. Kita akan maju dan berjaya.. Thank u, Kam Shia. !
