Indonesian Traditional Layered Cake [Lapis Tenun]
Ingredients
1/2 kg Tapioca starch
1/2 kg Wheat flour
1/2 kg Sugar [if you like sweet may add about 200-300 gr more]
1 sachet vanilli, can be replaced with 3-5 pieces of Pandan leaf tied knot
2, 4 Liters [2400 ml] Coconut milk from 2 large coconut fruit [cooked coconut milk]
1/2 tsp fine salt
2 tablespoons water whiting
according to taste FOR DYES: use good quality food coloring for bright and solid color, for choice of color according to taste
Here I use Olive green color [blend of green and slightly orange or yellow], purple, orange and white
ADDITIONAL Ingredients: 3 tablespoons Tapioca flour to thicken the dough motif
