I’m currently in law enforcement and absolutely love my job, but there is always the question as to what next after I retire. I’ll be in my late 40s early 50s when I’m done. I’ve been cutting hair on the side since Covid and absolutely love it. Granted I’m just doing it as a hobby at the house on myself and my boys to save money. A few dudes from the office have me cut their hair from time to time as well. I have 15 years to go and then I plan on being a barber until I can’t do it anymore. Love your videos and how you teach. Keep up the good work sir. It’s inspiring.

That’s awesome one of The Barber who works for me shares a very similar story. If you really like it, you should definitely try to go for it man.

I'm a digital law marketer, worked hard for it, but ready for a switch. I'm 41, and now I'm currently 1 month away from graduating barber school. I feel called to it, it sustains me, I love it! I see a lot of both types of people you refer to in school.

Im type 1. I can t complain about my money at my job but i don t enjoy it. At this point it just sponsors my pasion for barbering , pays bills and pays for other fun stuff. Working for a big corporation you can t have passion unless you are brainwashed anyways. So anytime i got a break or i can due less work needed, ill watch and document on barbering even on the job...Ofc without doing poorly there...but also not investing as much of my spirit into it.

Amazing as always Eddie and your right the best thing is to have two clippers and trimmers in the arsenal set up with taper blade and fade blade and understanding how to get the steps right and I always get new information no matter how many times I play them and are relevant to all barbers who have a hard time with lines and if they keep going they will find their own way and a big light 💡 bulb will turn on and say;YEEEES I FINALLY GOT IT SO JUST FOLLOW EDDIE AND WATCH ALL HIS VIDEOS AND LISTEN TO HIS DIRECTION AND WATCH OTHER BARBERS 💈 AND PRACTICE WITH REPS I AM ONE WHO CAN TELL YOU ALL THAT THE PROCESS WORKS.

My clipper setup is a JRL with the taper blade factory set. And the SC Rebel factory set with the Faper blade. Seems to work well together.
