1:41 i trained myself for three years specifically to play this song, and believe it or not, the verse at 1:41 was the hardest just because of the complexity of the rhythm. aaron kitcher is my idol drummer, and he's most famous for his speed, and a lot of people don't really recognize that he's also incredibly technical

@@genocidist2602 then how did they record it lmao they can't play live because the band members don't like backing tracks in live shows, but eddie pickard plays the the rhythm, second, and lead guitar, as well as bass, so he literally can't play 4 instruments at once.

aaron kitcher and tomas haake are my two favorite drummers of all time. when aaron isnt absolutely buzzsawing the drums his rhythms and beats are still dope as fuck and the fact he can keep time at those speeds is unbelievable

@@SmileDailyDose he actually play it. he used drum triggers and runs it through a DAW, so yes, it's technically programmed in the final cut, but he still played it.

If I wanted to hear nothing but useless speed I’d either play day of mourning from despised icon or anything archspire has written. At least both of those bands can play their shit clean live and don’t upload a jump cut all to hell with no real lighting as a drum play through

I agree. I've tried to tell so many people that IA programs their drums and that Kitcher, and even the fastest drummers in the world, could not play IA stuff without cheating in some way. Some songs are possible in real life, like this one, but others, especially ones from their latest album, are literally impossible without using a quad pedal + a pivot point to do gravity blasts on cymbals. However, they are also a satire band so I don't really expect much from them lol. Still an amazing band with really good song writing.
@Unknownusername1004

@@nokturat6948 well we’ll disagree on the song writing part since it’s usually pretty simple standard deathcore and slam clichés. Also a gravity blast on a cymbal is actually on of the most useless things I’ve ever heard of lol
@Unknownusername1004

@@nokturat6948 I’m also assuming a quad pedal would just be like the triple pedal but both sides can lock on 2 beaters but that could actually be useful in not used as an excuse for foot speed
