The best lines... Soul Stealer: "Oh boy! Here I go, killing again." "I seriously don't know what you other people do on this team." "What have I been up to? Oh not much, just wrecking demons and being a fracking king...comEd yeah, ha! " (not sure what his battle cry was at the end, but it had me in stitches)🤣😂🤣

@@toydomination so far this was the best one in the series, I've already watched it five times! And I still laugh out loud whenever Soul was featured and not to be biased, but my Avatar was badass, until he wasn't.

"You've come back... Why????" Because your narrative styles is PHENOMENOL!!! Wait.. PHE-DOM-ENOL!!!! lol... I watched this when it dropped while I was away for work and only had my laptop. Now I'm back home and watching it again on the 75" tv. Just awesome! lol Ever thought of filming how the game is played so we get to see why the story goes the way it does? lol, like why does "Soul blade" or whatever his name is run off without taking the objective back to Dr. Z? Is it because he was played by one of your boys who forgot the mission and wanted to go fight? Anyway, totally cool. Be blessed!

Dang, thank you! Seriously that's a huge compliment And I've never heard that Dom pun before, so 10 points for being the first. The next vid I do will be a more traditional battle report, where I do just that. I'm slowly going to start doing vids that cover portions of the game. My fear is those tend to be dry so I'm trying to strike a balance Alternatively, I want to start making more story based vids with more dialogue Thanks so much for the support. And thanks for watching and commenting!

You're welcome for the well-deserved compliments. I agree, MOST battle reports out there are SO BORING no matter how nice their minis or terrain look. MiniWarGaming is a prime example. So is Tabletop tactics (I used to watch them a few years back and it would be 3 hours of the game after a 30 minute intro on their forces, no editing, a handycam, and I'd suffer through it because of the occasional nice shot or witty banter, but so long. PlayOnTabletop does a great job making it into a fast "game show" experience or sporting event, but hardly anyone actually does anything narrative, which is why yours are hands down the most entertaining. You could always release the less edited battle report version as well as the nicely edited cinematic narrative (with the dice rolls as you already are). Then people who want more detail can watch both. That would be my advice.@@toydomination But then again, i'm a failed youtuber "neverwas" lol I just know how I'd do it if I ever decided to get into battlereports. 4 hands on Deck do really nice battletech batreps. Death from above wargaming has nicely set up battletech games but it's kind of boring watching them play back and forth AND they also only do a "recap" of their movement phase, but I like seeing the moves people are making. I really do think more people would watch stuff that was telling a story along with the game playing out. You're definitely on the right track and if I ever got into this, I'd name your channel as an inspiration for sure.

I'm def going to check out those channels. I watch several but none that I'd want to reproduce. I'm going to release a battle report, but cut down. And maybe release a full one and just say "only time I'll do this unless this vid blows up, but here it is". Editing two more as we speak. Thanks for watching and all the encouragement. Hopefully, these take off!
@HotelCharliHill

Yeah, i think that's a good decision, otherwise why produce a whole batrep video? As for blowing up, it's tough.... That point where the question is: "Do i do this if it's not getting traction? How long should I do this for if it isn't? Am I missing out on things that are really important because of this?" It seems like you have fun with your sons playing the games, so that's a benefit. One day you can all look back on the videos and that will be fun. But does the time to make them take away from other important things? Does it take away from meaningful time with your wife? Personally I only had a few comic book reads that got traction, but not enough for me to justify continuing. I follow Jesus Christ and He seemed to be making it clear He wanted my time to be better spent representing Him to others than trying to with my channel - hardly any viewers wanted to watch a 40 year old play video games rather poorly and then talk about Jesus and the Gospel, lol... So it was an easy decision for me. But if the ministry side of things doesn't take off and bear fruit, well then maybe I should try to do youtube again. I dunno.@@toydomination
