4th or 5th? You probably don't know anyone who is Polish either. English is overwhelmingly our 2nd language. Might have been Russian when our parents went to school a couple of decades ago, sometimes it's German... but as a general rule if we learn a foreign language it's bound to be English first.

Inferno in fact does not use the tricks detonator pedal, he uses a similar looking pedal called the "Devil's Hoof", its a handmade pedal from Poland that is the finest in the world. Not particularly faster than other pedals, but incredibly heavy duty and solid construction. You can google the devils hoof drum pedal and check it out for yourself, many huge touring death metal bands use these for years upon years of durability on the road, including Vader, Cannibal Corpse, and Dimmu Borgir

I have two of those cymbals - the 20" RUDE China and the 24" Alpha Rock Ride - but PAISTE has seen fit to discontinue both of them for some reason. The 20" RUDE China is very loud and very dirty, but also rather one-dimensional. It just does one thing - !!!PANG!!! - but it does it well. As for the 24" ALPHA Rock Ride, I also find that it is very good in the studio - and live for that matter. It has a bit more bite than the 2002 version, and a lovely bell, but it does not overpower. ALPHAs are made from the same CuSn8 bronze as the 2002 range, only the ALPHAs are made in Germany and not Switzerland and they are machined and then hand-finished, whereas 2002s are 100% handmade. In my experience RUDE cymbals are a bit too much for recording and most engineers don't seem to like them as they send everything into the red. My ideal set-up is RUDEs for live and ALPHA Rocks for recording. Also, I prefer regular RUDE hi-hats and Crash/Rides over WILDs as they have a cleaner sound. However, it's all down to personal taste. Sayonara!

Why would paiste discontinue a 20 inch rude China... That's so standard
@niffingig5143
Жыл бұрын
My ideal set up is what I am currently sporting,, but there's still room for improvement. I'm using: • 14" Sound Formula Heavy Hi Hat • 13" Alpha Medium Hi Hat • 20" Signature Series Dry Ride • 19" Signature Series Full Crash • 16" Signature Series Fast Crash • 10" Signature Reflector Splash • 10" Signature Series Splash • 12" Alpha Splash • 18" Rude Novo China • 18" Alpha Rock China I just made a chunk of cash from selling on Ebay and I'm going to treat myself. Even though it's nice and gets the job done, the 12" Alpha Splash is the weakest link in my set up. Instead of switching it out for another 12" Splash I'm going to replace it with a Rude Blast China. The final piece I need to switch out (It will become the new weak link) will be the 13" Alpha Medium Hats. I'm either going to go with a 13" 2002 Sound Edge Hi Hat ... or a 13" Signature Dark Crisp Hi Hat. The Dark Crisp costs around $100 more, but it's the superior Hi Hat of the two. My cymbal set up kinda gives off the impression I play in a traditional metal band, or a prog-rock band, something along those lines. I generally play in Tech-Death, traditional Blackmetal, or Grind bands. I just prefer "pretty" cymbals, except for the chinas. I like noisy, dirty sounding chinas.
