Nahh by the looks of this operation they are stacking that barn fully to the roof to dry all that. Could be a hay farmer or a middle man who buys from the farmers, stores and dries it and allocate as they want depending on this years price and demand. Where All the hay on the floor is there was once stacked bales like we are on the far side of the barn. That’s a normal amount of loss one would get from moving all those especially how they moved them. But by the looks of it I’d reckon they have the proper equipment to properly move all that hay and aren’t muscling it and throwing and bashing those bales around to get to the truck. Pretty funny honestly, who knew if you planted a barn full of hay that it would grow more hay bales lol. Now that sounds like a crop I’d love to plant ! Infinite money glitch ! 😂

Eventually it will sour so you will always still have to plant, cut, and bale. The bales lose about 2%-8% of their dry matter per year and if they bales get wet or the hay/wheat gets wet on the barn floor then baled, it will mold pretty quickly.
