Information processing theory was one of the most significant cognitive theories in the last century and it has strong implications on the teaching-learning process. Information processing theory describes how the learner receives information (stimuli) from the environment through the sensory register, then the short term memory and the long term memory. Certain factors would also determine whether the information will be retrieved or "remembered" when the learner needs it. I do agree with Tolman that "Learning is a cognitive process. Thank you so much ma'am for this well explained video. It is indeed true that we can learn even though we are far from each other. Manuel, Eden A. BSED 3 English

Our mind is like a computer. It can encode, decode, and store informations. In this lesson I learned about the short and long term memory. It is helpful to me because sometimes I forget many things and i learned a lot of methods that I can use to retrieve the informations. PIMENTEL, FRENZ BSED 3 SCI

Similar to a computer is our mind. Information can be encoded, decoded, and stored. I learned about short- and long-term memory in this lesson. I learnt a variety of methods that I may use to recover the material, which is important to me because I occasionally forget a lot of stuff. Mark D. Belino BSED ENG 3

This video explained the information processing theory. I learned that our mind it has a limits especially to think. Thus our minds is different but thinking more give us stress so the important is we will always give our self in mind to relax also. BSED 3-SCI

The information processing model is a theoretical framework that explains how the human mind processes information. It is based on the idea that the mind works like a computer, with information being received through the senses, processed in the brain, and output being produced through behavior or thought. The model suggests that the mind has a limited capacity to process information at any given time, and that it must prioritize and select the most important information to attend to. It also proposes that information is stored in various memory systems, such as short-term memory and long-term memory, and that these memory systems have different properties and capabilities. Overall, the information processing model is a useful way to understand the cognitive processes involved in perception, attention, memory, and problem solving. Michelle Sadao BSED 3 English

Devine Joyce Balualua BEED 3 A From the lecture about the Information Processing Theory, I learned the differences of the Short term memory or also called as working memory and the long term memory, I also learned a lot of techniques and suitable ways and methods on how to increase the retrieval on informations if the short term memory may happen and this is a great help for me as a learner.

This video explained the information processing theory. I learned that our mind has its own limits as well so don't overload your mind with unnecessary things cause it fades in particular time. Thus, we should let important memories stay in our brain but pains and others must let it out or release to protect our brain and function better during examinations😅 Re-chelle Dencio BSED 3-Science

VENTURA, LORENDA RAFAEL BSED 3-ENGLISH The cognitive theory known as "Information Processing Theory" is concerned with how information is stored in our memories. According to the hypothesis, our brains sort information based on what we are currently focusing on, what is saved in our working memory or short-term memory, and what is finally preserved in our long-term memory.

A person's mind has its own limit. A person can feel different feelings at the same time, different thought, and more. IPT deals with the explanation how an information is being encoded, stocked, and removed to our minds. Flores, BSED III SCIENCE

The Information Processing theory is a theoretical framework that describes the cognitive processes involved in perception, memory, and decision-making. This theory suggests that the mind processes information in a series of stages, similar to how a computer processes data. This theory proposes that information is received by the senses and then is directed to a series of stages, starting with the sensory register, where the information is briefly stored in its raw form. It then proceeds to the working memory, where the information is actively manipulated and used to guide behavior. From there, some of the information is transferred to long-term memory where it can be stored for later retrieval. In understanding the information processing we should consider the different types of knowledge including procedural wherein understanding information should not be done in short cut, and episodic is about our memories. Our mind has its own capacity and duration for informations to receive and process. There are different and creative ways that our mind do to remember information like computers with folders specifically to determine a point of our lives. But unlike computers, our mind has its short term while in computers, the memories can stay unless you deleted them. But somehow, this can be retrieved through maintenance and exercises that helps our memory to remember. Now, these short term can be turned into long term permanently that a person can always remember about the information.

The Information Processing Theory paradigm may be used to prepare the learning process of students. It provides you a means for ensuring that your students acquire more than a superficial knowledge of the material we deliver to them. It ensures that it is kept in their long-term memory for retrieval at any moment. Shyla Joy Morales BSED 3- Science
