That homeowner in cave Creek was super chill with the King Snake!

Having grown up in Arizona, I absolutely love watching your videos and the amazing conservation of these incredible animals you all do. Thank you.

That was such a nice commentary at the end, to share those lovely memories with us, to reflect and take one's time to go home.

I am glad you took the risk. You are making a difference in people and these snakes lives. People have lost touch with nature and the intricacies of it, all things big and small. Having moved from a region with only garter snakes to a regions with rattlessnakes, I wanted to learn about them in case I encounted any on my hikes. Thank so much for these videos.

Thanks for sharing your story Bryan. I always wondered how you started doing snake relocation. I'm sure this profession is much more rewarding.

I came across our first snake of the year. A Checkered Garter snake, the largest one I have seen in our area (Texas Panhandle). It was just under 3 feet long and absolutely beautiful! ❤

Very cool! And yes that species can get quite large for gartersnakes!

I want to visit Arizona. I've never seen any part of the West coast. I'd love to go in the desert at night, kick back in a lawn chair, smoke a fat bowl and watch the skies. That sounds like a good time. 😊

There are quite a few different king snakes. I had a 3,500 sq.' building in Houston for my machine shop. One day, I found a "speckled king snake" upstairs. I assume that he was hunting mice or rats. The speckled king snake is about as pretty as the king snake you caught, i.e., Calif. king snake ?

They will! So really, she was not doing herself any favours by asking them to remove it.

Bryan, we (& the snakes & Gila monsters) are also glad that you took that leap, from a "regular" career, to following your passion more than full time. Blessings to the RSS Team.

Totally ridiculous question but, do you have small holes in the bucket so the snake can breathe? LOVE what you guys do…..rescue and relocate to a nice area rather than tossed out in the direct sun. Appreciate you guys!!

Not a ridiculous question :) and yes we do. We just don't have a lot of them, and hide them away typically in places where it's harder to accidently place a finger while carrying the buckets around.

We do tell people this. Even still, not everyone is comfortable with snakes in their space. We take what we can get and are just grateful she was willing to have us come out instead of the all too common unfortunate alternative.

The homeowners who call us for service pay a reasonable fee, and we generate funding from our rattlesnake fencing service as well.

King Snake will eat any snake they come across venomous/ non venomous. They are opportunistic hunters .

They do. And we do explain this whenever we can. However, we do not shame anyone who doesn't feel comfortable with a snake in their space. We are just grateful people want it safely relocated instead of the unfortunate alternative.
