You are essentially that same kid when you are older, just in a bigger avatar. So if you have a wounded inner child, that is who is running the show of your life. Your inner child might be wounded if you:
1. struggle with trusting yourself and others
2. you have problems regulating your emotions
3. fear of abandonment
4. you’re ashamed of expressing emotions like sadness and anger
5. you have difficulty with boundaries; identity issues
6. poor self-esteem
7. Display obsessive behavior and are prone to addiction
This child self holds our deepest thoughts, feelings, needs, and desires. Developing a loving and symbiotic relationship with ourselves. it is key to healing from our past. This meditation guides you through conscious interaction with your inner child; and serves to establish a strong relationship between your adult self and your child self.
