you can actually push 350-400 hp on stock internals with these k20s but at that point it becomes very stressful for the engine, and you might blow a gasket. for the performance and upgrading capabilities they offer, as well as being compact enough to fit in basically anything, its a little monster of an engine. can even get upwards of 1000 with a ridiculous enough turbo setup and some internal upgrades.
@realMaverickBuckley
5 ай бұрын
@yimpyoi9808 You also lose the NA. NA on FWD is so much nicer in track. You can get 260hp per tonne easily on a pre 2000 civic. That's alot more than an M2. But then because an M2 us 60% heavier, a Civic will brake better, turn in better, in many corners rotate better etc

I’m not the type of guy that usually comment a video but I have to do it in this one. It was good to see the modest honda overtaking the m2. Great foot work. Keep up Misha ❤

When I saw that the guy had posted an image on Instagram on the Nurburgring I was really hoping that you would do a lap with it and I'm so glad that you did, this is definitely a dream car.

I can just listen to that sound like a musical track. Honda's NA motors were so good.

True long time Honda casual driver here. When you're diving one, there's really no need to look at the cluster as much when all you have to do is listen to the motor and have a great sense of shifting at the right time. Not like the air induction vehicles or oversized motors nowadays.

I remember back in the early 2000's arguing with kids in high school that Hondas had potential to become great track cars and that they would outlast many cars in the car scene and they would just laugh at me. 20 years later I'm proven right. Now owner of track oriented 20 Mustang gt and my beloved dc2 integra ls that I got in 2004 and is now a gutted, swapped, and tuned for track day car.
