I have some sad news to share with my let’s Read family, last night my mother called me and told me that my youngest brother David had passed away from a opioid overdose he was only 26 years old and I’m very sad and I’m in a very depressed I lost my own flesh and blood. I miss him very much but even though I’m shattered over my brother’s death I’m am happy because my wife hit the 9 month pregnancy mark today so our twin daughters Katie and Abigail will be born on September 21st. But for now I will have to go through a period of Sadness and mourning. I want you thank Joel for his awesome narrations Joel even though I’m going through a hard time I still love your narrations and you rock take care brother.

Sooo sorry to hear about your little brother….I lost my little sister at 34 in 2015 not to opiates but basically to depression & a heart problem that was brought on from heavy alcohol use….I won’t lie to you when it’s your sibling it’s not a pain that necessarily gets easier with time like maybe the death of a friend or something would, because there will be SOO many times & life events where you find yourself longing to speak with them again if even just once more…and sadly the birth of your twins will be one of those bittersweet moments I’m referring to, where you want to share EVERYTHING with him, but I promise he’s there with you in those moments & you might even get little signs from him! -I kept finding white feathers one day, 3 separate places this white feather kept showing up that day…it was starting to scare me at first but then I looked it up & saw that ppl believe it’s a sign from heaven from your Angel & I KNEW right then it was HER…I can’t explain it. 🪶 -But your twin girls are also gonna help you cope when those lonely moments creep up on you too though…because EVERYTIME you look into their sweet little faces you’re gonna be reminded of ALL that is beautiful about this life & you will be reminded that they have one of the BEST Angels watching over & protecting them ….their Uncle, your little brother who will be with you always in your heart, memories & smiles of his nieces. …And trust me they’re gonna keep you very BUSY lol and exhausted which are two things that WILL help keep your mind focused on other things. -Again so sorry for your loss, sending lots of good vibes your way & also sending Congratulations on your sweet little twin daughters from Louisville, Kentucky!…..what a SPECIAL gift a set of sweet baby girl twins is going to be 🎀🎀🌸🌸👧👧👭💕💕

The scariest part of story 1, is that we never find out where Margaret is, who she is, or if she is okay...hope nothing happened to her, poor girl...And the scariest part of story 3 is thinking it is okay to, literally kill something, let is suffer and rot, for an imaginary restraunt game. I get people don't generally care about fish but I do. My anscestors believed all life was sacred. Those girls should have ACTUAY cooked the fish and either served it to mom and dad or eaten it themselves. I would have made them eat the fish, if they were my kids or at very least had them feed the fish to another Animal. I already know my opinion is probably unpopular, and do not need or want abuse for it. I am only posting my opinion for a small, handful of people, who might actually care about it or simply consider my point.

Story 5 (33:50) makes me remember a time I used to work in a print shop in a sketchy area of my city. My workmates and I saw weird things and situations every now and then so we got used to it. We had a temporary workmate, a girl of 18 or 19 years old, and apparently very naive. One day, when everyone returned from the lunch break and were gathered in front of the punch clock, she said an old man offered her $20 in the street. She refused to take the $20 and kept walking, but the man insisted. She asked us why the man kept insisted in giving her money. We looked at each other and told her we didn’t know why and to not listen to crazy people. We didn't “have the heart” to tell her the truth and take away her innocence.

Yet another video with the phrase "as if though". I'm sorry but I simply cannot listen to these anymore knowing that most of them are written by the same person and are therefore all entirely fictional. Nobody in the history of the English language has said "as if though". The phrases are "as if" or "as though". "As if though" just sounds like some moron is writing all of these. But apparently we're all supposed to believe that this uncommon misspeaking is ubiquitous across 90% of the people who send these stories in

The last one hit home. I was harassed when I was working in a drug store when I was about 18. This old man would come in and get as close as he could to me. Put his hand on my back or shoulder. Try to whisper in my ear. He wanted to know my full name. Wanted to know which way I went home. I got to where I would hide in the back room if I saw him coming in. I finally got the courage to tell him a huge lie-My Dads a cop and a big man if you don’t leave now I will call him. He is in this area and can be here in a couple of minutes!! (Dad was big. Just a paper mill worker). You won’t be the first man that Dad made disappear!! It worked!! He would come in and avoid me after that. What I said scared him. I also told a man that kept calling me the same thing. I told him my Dad now knows where you live because my phone is tapped. Don’t call again. He didn’t!! Not sure if this would work now days. I am 60. This was a long time ago. At the time I was scared especially leaving work at night. Now it’s just a funny story how I scared two men!!
