📌Summary: Cooper desperately tried to match their spin with the rotating space station Endurance. After a while, Dr. Brand passed out due to an extreme amount of g force, Cooper cold-bloodedly handled the situation and pushed themselves out of orbit.
📌What we will explore?
1. What happens when you are continuously applying force on an object perpendicular to its initial direction? (Circular Motion)
2. Anything that is traveling in a curved path or in a circle is being pushed inward(towards the center of the curvature), that’s what we call Centripetal Force.
3. If an object is changing its velocity, that’s called Acceleration.
4. Any change in velocity will be considered as Acceleration which can happen in two different ways. Change in the magnitude of velocity or change in the direction of velocity.
5. Force and Acceleration will always go together. That’s what F=ma literally means.
6. Acceleration due to Centripetal Force is called Centripetal Acceleration which depends only on two things. Velocity and Distance from the center. It has nothing to do with mass.
7. Reality is very different from your exam papers and it is extremely hard to recognize which one is given and which one isn’t if you have no idea how to think about problems.
8. Beauty of Science: The methods and tools of science are so powerful that If you discover something in an objective way, sometimes that can open up whole new ways of thinking and can lead to other discoveries.
9. Cooper and Dr Brand were experiencing 24.62 g force while they were spinning. Which is, of course, not an easy thing to handle.
