12:08 Profit breakdown
We begin with our first design, a faux chenille terrycloth “R” that we’ll be embroidering onto the left chest of the letterman jacket using our MT-1501. We go over what supplies you’ll need, and which hoops are best to use for each part of this project, depending on the placement of the design and what type of fabric is being used. We then go through the embroidery process step-by-step, so you can see how long it takes to embroider, and what the final design looks like.
Next, we demonstrate how to embroider a right chest logo, indicating what kind of stabilizer and hoops to use in the process. Then, we move on to the back of our jacket, another faux chenille terrycloth logo, showing you how to hoop, trace, cut and embroider the design along the way. And for our final placement, we embroider another, larger, and more colorful design on the back of our jacket to finish things off.
Lastly, we discuss the profit potential of embroidering a letterman jacket. We break down how to properly price your garment, so you can be sure to account for the materials purchased, plus the time it took you to create a project like this.
