I know there is a lot going on on the road. There are so many things you cannot process quickly because Africa can be very chaotic. When she says this is our hotel and the African music playing on the background leaves me speechless. The experience can be overwhelming at times. Thank you, sir and ma'am.

Oh man! I was suffering and sweating by just watching you driving through those chaotic cities. Those are the moments when you think a BMW wouldn't had been a better choice.

Thanks again for following along Eliu! In tight situation’s and off-road we definitely feel like we have the right bikes…but riding down the highway sometimes all day long a BMW looks pretty dang comfortable. Cheers!

Am Ugandan and love biking around the country. Kampala is congested, you might not enjoy it much on a big bike. I was also stopped at this bridge and didn't see the sign and the officer told me "You're just following your google maps and missed the sign"😂 I told him just like you guys said - I didn't see the sign... I've driven on this road many times and never seen any bike sign. so we walked back with him and he showed me the sign and directed me where to pass. So every time I reach this section I know where to pass while on a bike. It's the old bridge just for bikes now. Otherwise, I enjoyed watching your journey, I wish you guys a safe journey!

Thank you for your comment Elijah! The traffic wasn’t too much of an issue. It was actually quite interesting to see all the chaos and navigate it. That is so funny that even a local Ugandan can miss the sign and go on the motorcycle restricted bridge. It was very cool to go on the motorcycle only bridge in the end. We thoroughly enjoyed Uganda and its people and hope to come back one day. Cheers!

The railroads were built by the British in British East Africa. One of them between Kenya and Uganda became known as the "Lunatic Express". I can't remember the name of the movie, but I remember the part where railroad construction workers were killed by lions. It turns out this movie would have been about this part of Africa. The train scenes in "Out of Africa" were filmed here also.
